Just lost my healthcare this past week. Health diagnosis caused me to not to be able to work, though I tried to find something else to do at work (and work was trying to help), but it turns out I wasn’t supposed to be doing that job either and also couldn’t due to other chronic issues that are at least somewhat related to my latest diagnosis. Nearly 17 years with same company and my insurance denies short term disability based on differing dates on the filed paperwork, which is easily explained and I have explained it multiple times. I don’t know why I’m shocked, my insurance company at the time of two past surgeries dropped me on nearly a weekly bases, even after being approved.

Preach Bernie!! 🙏🙏🙏 I am disabled and on SSDI, and like nearly every person on SSI, SS (All forms), VA, RRB benefits are not getting the $1,500+ a month to live on. In fact most, including myself, get under $900 a month. With Rent and gas, food, and everything else getting more expensive every month, it's forced many to lose everything and end up homeless. Many have no family or anyone to turn to for a little help. There are homeless camps of dozens of people suddenly showing up and growing in my town, when there used to be a sliver of those out there now just 6 months ago! There are a lot of people getting an amount to live on each month that is far below the federal poverty line. Even if they raised the federal benefits to a once proposed 125% of the federal poverty line, or the reported $1,500+ a month, that's still poverty. Even though many recipients of the federal benefits receive section 8 housing, food stamps and some form of health care coverage at various levels, it is still increasingly difficult to afford to eat one time a day, Keep the power on every month, etc.! Section 8 covers a certain percentage of the rent, food stamps issued on the assumption that you pay at least 30% of your income for food, and Medicare has a premium and co-pays. People have the misconceptions that our bills are paid for us and the federal benefits are there to just freely spend on whatever we want. At a time when it's absolutely available for all states, under 2 public health emergency declarations, all states could be issuing the emergency allotment of food stamps to help all who receive these benefits! Many states opted out of doing this, mine did so last June, and the list of the states still doing this is shrinking by the month!

Bernie thank you for all you are fighting for the middle class and low income. This is an atrocitie for what has taken place. You and others have worked beyond what people can imagine. Thank you again Mr. Sanders, outstanding job!!!

Should somebody photograph and identify the deserters with a mind to explain the circumstances of their departure, that could be embarrassing (That is, if these deserting senators weren't psychopaths, it could be embarrassing.) Oh, Bernie cited a statistic that upper management of big corporations received 350 times the median income workers earned. Last month, a person testifying at a committee hearing said the ratio had increased to 1000 times more than the median wage of its workers.

I am so glad he is pushing so hard I love him for it, I just wish it'd be effective, and it wont be... and that's the problem, mind you through no fault of his own... he makes every good point and I can't imagine anyone of the working class disagreeing with his idea's, I mean I know there are some and I know their arguments and they're ridiculous, everything he talks about could be paid for with relative ease with a more robust tax system.... Republicans always complained that there were so many brackets in the tax system but those brackets ensure people are taxed fairly... someone working for 400k a year pays more in taxes than Jeff Bezos who makes that when his housekeeper cleans the couch cushions... and that person making 400k pays more because they don't have the ability to hire a group of tax lawyers to reduce the amount of their taxes by as much as possible...
