I enjoyed your video, but sometimes it was hard to concentrate on the comparison. The memes really threw me off. The beeps were super helpful for listening without looking which is sometimes necessary when comparing. Might I suggest crossfades on the audio so you can make the beeps a little quieter? I had the volume turned up (with headphones) so I could really hear the mics. I agree with the other commenter's critiques. Thanks for making this video, it was nice to hear these mics head-to-head!

. : NTG3: is more warm and has a wider field it records. (easier to use, gets a little more noise/reflections) Like it more for overall sound. Great for recording lightsaber sounds. :D . : 416 : has a higher sensetivity in the higher frequenzies, more narrow. (harder to use, gets less noise/reflections) Maybe a bit better for speaches, but the price is way over the top. .: Hint :. Indoors, in a small room, both will get to much low-end (higher frequencies get cancelt in small spaces). Problem with all long shotgun mics. So for small rooms take a short pencil condencer. nt5 etc. Even so your cutting is fun. For really testing something, hearing it all is important. You seemed to get bored quickly and cut away some stuff that should've been in there 😅 Also with too much of a pause it's hard to compare them. Bring them on the same level and then switch between them forth and back during the same Test-scenario. Still thanks for the Tests!

the hole time I was thinking the same thing. both sounds very good not too much difference. if you use just 1 right, you will have very great sound .... I just got the Rode 3

Came here for an insightful comparison. Too bitty, annoying interjections and positioning not great, so gave up.
