In this video i am going to show you how you can repair your Sennheiser HD 205 headphone Right Side speaker Not Working step by step.

Thank you very much! I have 3 of the same headphones, because they are so good for keeping noise outside but 2 of them have the same problem. I don't know can I fix them, but I will try. I have a soldering iron and a multimeter, but I actually don't now anything about electrical work, so could you tell me, which are the right settings for the multimeter.

I am replacing the plug on one of these but when I test for short circuit with my moving coil test meter on the lowest ohm scale it says that all 4 wires have the same DC resistance to each other, 0 ohms. Is this normal?

Yes in all headphones, sometimes 3.5mm jack also faulty

Useless video. For people looking into this problem if it's a wired set of headphones it's probably either the wire or the plug in the earpiece. Either is replaceable. But at the price point for Sennheisers we shouldn't even be having this problem, it's unacceptable.
