Did you use any sound setting? I bought the tw3 too, I have the Sony wf-c700n and I am very disappointed with the sennheiser sound

How long have you had your MTW3s? I just returned mine since I've heard about these faults and will pick up the MTW4s in a few days.

@@buzzmorgan4351 had mine around 8 months all minor issues resolved after firmware update don't waste your money on momentum 4 the sound quality is roughly the same you won't notice it wait when the price drops if you must purchase

Neither. AZ-80 has warning on Amazon for frequent returns. As for Momentum, search for the drama with their previous gen. Serious QC issues. Mine died on me too.

they have some extra features, like auracast, and, supposedly, sennheiser has implemented various under-the-hood improvements, which hopefully include build quality, as they had some massive problems with their TW buds breaking, which apparently was a battery supplier problem. However, putting "these won't break after a few months" on the feature list won't be quite the wallet-opener, even though this sort of admission means that they are aware of the problem and have implemented a fix, which all companies have to do, but they just do so secretly, because the average consumer won't really understand the greater picture of such a message... design-wise, I guess they indeed are pretty much the same, though changing the design isn't really needed if they're good - I found MTW3 to be quite comfortable and secure. Ultimately, though, time will tell. The MTWs are king-of-all-trades hardware, as long as they work... if the MTW4 will be plagued by the same problems as all the previous TW buds from Sennheiser, then I'd have to give a hard pass to all their TW stuff, due to rather extensive personal experience.

From what I can tell, the 4s have just a little bit more in terms of audio support and a slightly bigger battery, along with some shiny plastic that replaces the matte plastic on the individual buds. To the audiophile, they will likely notice the difference in audio support, but to the average person, you are basically correct. The battery life is not different enough for the average person to notice a difference and I guarantee you the average person will not know the difference in terms of sound quality and audio support, because there really isn't a difference, the audio that is supported by the 4 and not by the 3 is the type of audio that an audiophile would look for and that 90% of people do not know or care about. Especially since the 3s are regularly on sale nowadays for $200 or less, you are better off saving your money and grabbing a pair of the 3s. I'd honestly wait to get the 4s until they are replaced and go on sale.

Very loud with the sound optimisation done. Louder than the Sony I back to backed them woth . Also louder than Beoplay EX too.

@@deanowarrior never tried Beo or Sony but surely tuned and used all possibilities on M4 and 3; don’t get me wrong I wanted Ms to work for me but PerL Pro was simply way better and 3ANC just as good, more powerful and surely a better value.

AptX HD is a bit old hat now usually only found on headphones not earbuds. Adaptive and Lossless are much more stable and reliable. 👍

Lc3/LE audio is not high res. Snapdragon is related to Aptx adaptive/lossless

Make sure it does support lossless though because not every phone with a snapdragon gen 2 or 3 supports lossless

To audiophiles, it is a slight upgrade because the 4s support more audio, but to the average person who just wants their music to sound the best it can, this guy is right, there is no discernible difference aside from the 4s having a slightly bigger battery. It's possible the average person would notice the difference there, but at the same time, the battery size difference amongst the two is miniscule. When you throw in the fact that nowadays the 3s are regularly on sale for $200 or less and the 4s currently retail for $300, it makes getting the 4s a gigantic waste of money because I wholeheartedly believe the differences between the 3s and 4s are not important enough to justify the $100 difference in price. I would normally be furious that a tech company is constantly releasing ESSENTIALLY the same products over and over again, but when it comes to headphones and earbuds, especially ones made by companies that specifically make headphones and earbuds, you can only innovate so much especially if you got the sound down the very first time. Basically, when it comes to this specific style of earbud, Senny can't make any improvements to what they've already done without drastically increasing the price by replacing the materials it's made out of. It's the perfect example of "IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT", only in this situation they decided that slight upgrades to audio support and battery life, two things about the buds they collectively decided was broke, were worth a $100 price hike and I do not agree with that.
