Awesome. The tower grounds played a big part in my youth; not that I could afford to ride the rides on every visit. I have to admit that I had forgotten just how many rides there were. Partly, this is because, when all the rides were taken down, the area of Tower Grounds seemed quite small. Yet. as well s the rides featured in this movie clip, there was a football stadium, a zoo and a Chinese restaurant (in architectural style rather than cuisine - this was the 50,s and 60s,) surrounded by a boating lake. Don't forget the Tower itself. If you look at the area of the housing development and recreation ground that replaced the Grounds, those memories take on the cloak of imagination. Thank you for this, it has restored my youth.
