This takes me back, I really enjoyed the Qashqai, my boot handle came off but I glued mine back on 😂😂 some of the examples I have seen have the bootlid screwed back on. One thing I found when I had mine was the leather on the steering wheel peeled a bit and I thought some of the plastics had the rubberised sticky plastic, that tended to get sticky... Not sure if this example has the six disc changer in it, maybe changed the unit when facelifted. One of these cars I actually liked from Launch and always wanted one. Thank you for this review Sir.

When I noticed the boot handle was not broken, I knew that this car was in excellent condition! I have seen the boot handles screwed in too.... This steering wheel seemed fine, but I think yours was a bit older than this very late example from memory. I didn't see a CD changer, but maybe it did have one. I literally filmed this review in under 30 minutes, so I didn't investigate the plastics too thoroughly!

Someone at work had one of these or was it a Juke? Either way, it had the engine that begins with a D…. She had it, trouble free for a few years, and then, big things relating to the engine beginning with D went wrong very quickly. DPF EGR DUAL MASS FLY WHEEL It was going to cost a fortune to fix, so she sold it. Took the hit and bought a ford SUV (but with another engine beginning with D) …I only have that 1 example but yea, if it were me, i would only buy a petrol model.

I don't seem to notice these original Qashqais on the roads any more these days. A decade ago they were a common sight. I imagine most got used hard, worn out and then scrapped.

It tends to be things like the front sub frame that kills these off. I see plenty of these around, but that may just be because I am on the lookout for stuff like this. Thank you for watching, sir(

I prefer the looks of this facelift alot more than the J11 , the new e-power looks good now too.

Well sir, the J11 Qashqai review I did last year is doing relatively well, although I am a bit concerned about the 1.2 models in particular, which means I would not recommend them.

Thumbs up for the video, I tend to Tekna notice of these vehicles now. As you say, the pure definition of bland for people who have no interest in cars.

I got offered this at very short notice, and decided to have a go as I had never driven one before. It's a perfectly good car, they just aren't really for enthusiasts.
