Good quality car the Corsa. Good Engines and bodywork. The Corsa B did rust very badly. I do prefer the superior practicality and rear headroom of the five door though. The extra torque and flexibility for longer motorway journeys of the 1.4 will always be preferable to the 1.2. That said, a modern 1.2 engine is well capable being an everyday car.

Yes, the 1.2 wasn't actually that different in power output than the 1.4, so the 1.4 in this Corsa E doesn't really feel much different to the 1.2 in the Adam I drove back in March... The Corsa E has many fewer problems than the Corsa D, which is good news.

Oh I see there are still some fan, temperature etc switches though. Hope they work. Very handsome interior, although you would want to drive with the windows down if this was summertime New Zealand.

Yes, you certainly would have to open the windows if it got a bit warmer...

A excellent review as always Sir, they do look much nicer than a Corsa D inside, very similar to the Astra K inside.

Thank you for the video! What? No air conditioning? How are you supposed to drive in the rain without the windows fogging up? That is a serious question. I see you driving in the rain relatively relaxed though.

It's very common not to have air conditioning in cars over here. I have had quite a few of them myself...

I'm possibly going to be a tad controversial here, as I much prefer the Corsa D. HOWEVER, I wouldn't hesitate to opt for a Fiat Punto or a Suzuki Swift instead.

You can say whatever you like, sir, but I have spoken to Mr Coleman, and these Corsa Es actually tend to be much more reliable than a Corsa D or Punto. The Swift is another matter, though...

@@lloydvehicleconsulting I can't comment on the Corsa D, but my old Grande Punto was a reliable car, as were the mk2 Puntos that me and my parents owned prior. I had rather wanted another Punto to replace the Grande, but as I needed another car in a hurry, I ended up with the Swift. Whilst I've already gotten rather attached to the Swift, I do still really miss my Grande Punto.

Yes, you could get it on some models of the Corsa E.

Christ. Joseph. Went A4C today bought ( collected ) a 2015 64 Reg 1.4i Sting 5 Door. Red with white stripe. White wheels. Cruise control. Oh and Air Con. My first E Corsa. I couldn’t believe how similar the drivetrain is to the D. Even the same shifter gear knob. Dials looked cheap. Steering wheel ok. Stereo cheap. I kind of prefer the D. Cannot put my finger on why …. Maybe it’s just a D in totally new clothes. The drive wasn’t a decent enough step-on. Why do you seam to review cars I’ve only just driven same day !!!!! I’m a small trader now. Only sell 120 odd year down from 750 a year. Even more surprising the videos you make seam to tally with my purchases !!!!! Lastly. On my 82,500 mile example chrome from stereo knob and circle for TP Radio controls flaking off. Actually after valeting it. Even the carpets memorable to that of the D. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Yes I found the tyre pressure each corner. I’ve still not sampled the Adam. Mind !!!! Quote : One of the most successful facelifts ever. Well. It got me as a trader. Even. Blatantly believed all new model until got in my first today.

This review was filmed on 2nd August, so it's been on the schedule for some time. There is no collusion, I can assure you! Mr Coleman serviced one of these from 2018 yesterday, and it is holding up very well. This one is a bit of weird specification, but it seemed to sell quite quickly. Interesting that the red one actually has air conditioning.
