Anyone making suggestions for sensible transfer videos, in the latest Tifo football podcast they explained that they had only 12 slots available, so spent considerable timing deciding on which clubs to cover. I would expect that the schedule has long been decided by now.

I would say Dortmund would do well to try getting Milinkovic-Savic. For 35 million euros its a bargain and would be a change in strategy that might be the necessary change to finally bring in some success to the club

Majer seems like a great pick. Lots of clubs interested, at least judging by what the media in Croatia are saying, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen and Newcastle are the three most common clubs mentioned

I think Neuhaus could be a great midfield option, he would be what 20 million €? Kjaegaard from salzburg could also be a nice young prospect.

@@MrRextarer you got a point, hes been out of shape in the last couple pf seasons but when fit he is class, besides will be a cheap option 12M according to Transfermarket so its a low risk one. If not kjaegaard would be a nice option aswell, 190+ cm, quite strong and has a good shot from outside of the box, he also drift wide similar to what Bellingham did from time to time.

One super small suggestion: when you bring up the squad full screen, especially the first time, could you leave it up a second longer so it’s easier to read every position before you cut back to the presenter?

Great video! We definitely need to upgrade the squad, and we have the funds to do so. But apart from 2 or maybe even 3 midfieldes, I don't really see what we should upgrade. There's definitely a lot of positions that can be upgraded but very few that needs to be, it's only the spot Jude leaves behind really. And we can't even come close to replace a player like that, which means we should upgrade in other areas to make up for it but it's surprinsingly difficuly to know which positions.

Florian Wirtz should be on Dortmunds mind. Also a RWB/LWB in joakim Maehle from atalanta and a Striker Aleksandr Mitrovic from Fulham. CB Fabian Schar from Newcastle would fit perfectly too. Brozovic would have been a good holding player too.

I would also think that Aleksandr Golovin is also a good option for Dortmund, a leader of Monaco off his best season statistically, is available as they failed to qualify for continental competitions. I believe he is a brilliant player with attacking upside and a defensive aggression which suits the role Jon described :)

Tactics are wrong tho, Guerreiro didn't go up and down the flank but tucked into midfield instead while Adeyemi stayed wide in posession. Also Dortmund literally signed Felix Nmecha who is an attacking 8 (and from Citys Academy) and Bellinghams replacement two days ago. Lovro Majer is 25 and already linked to better clubs which is why I don't think Dortmund as another stepping stone club is realistic, he's ready for a top team. Signing Samardzic who is already one of the best midfielders in Serie A as a backup would be pointless

I like these videos, but I do think you guys spend too long talking about how the team sets up and the player who has left. If I wanted a full tactical breakdown of the club, I would want a separate video of it. These should just be an extremely brief overview of the basic principles of how the club plays and then should go into more depth about the tactics, when describing how the player you suggested fits in and what that player would do to assist with the tactics.

I still think recommending James McAtee goes against the idea of sensible transfers. Using the reasoning that it’s plausible for the transfer because Dortmund and City have transferred players before isn’t the idea.

I like the fullback option. But I suspect midfield will be replaced internally. With Reyna and/or Brandt moving central. They may buy an option long-term. But I think it more likely (and easier), to find a winger.

Does feel a bit redundant talking about how Jude fitted into the system. He was a special player and you're not really going to find a player that can do what he does. Inter milan please. Champions league finalists with a decimated squad after contracts expired. Lots of gaps still to fill and hard decisions to make. Keep Onana or sell? Who would even replace him? Who are going to be wingback back ups? What are the strikers going to look like? What CB's will they sign? Edit: spelling mistake
