fun fact: when the bell landed on ernesto a second time, he became eternally disgraced. meaning he lost everything and is still being known as a murderer. this is both a fate worse than death, AND a way for ernesto to get karma as the only way to die in the land of the dead is to be forgotten.

5 years may not seem like much for a racer like Storm, but I was so focused on his character, I didn't realize how much psychological warfare was involved!

What about Miguel's grandma Elena Rivera, she did some heinous deeds such as assulting a mariachi band member just for Miguel holding his guitar, attacking 3 men just singing and playing the accordion, throwing her shoe to Dante, who's Miguel's Xolo dog, in all 3 attacks of using her own shoe even if Miguel joins along musicians and playing music, destroying Miguel's property such as destroying his records, video tapes & his homemade, hand built, guitar, even doing the same deeds as Imelda

@kotchapakmaneechote2062 and paying the damages in the Mexican Peso plus, she did the blessing crucifix movement believed that God help her actually in religious beliefs in Mexico, doing something like what she did ACTUALLY makes Jesus mad for damaging Miguel's property because it had sentimental value if Miguel still didn't found out the De La Cruz was a muderer, she will be punished for it

There aren’t really any bad guys in Inside Out, other than possibly Jangles the Clown, but he’s clearly just the embodiment of Riley’s Coulrophobia (the fear of clowns), and he was only put and added in Self-Conscience by the Mind Workers, because of the way Riley got frightened by him. 🤔

I can understand Ernesto. He murdered a man who only wanted to see his family, and because of the music the guy he murdered made, only to steal it and he did attempt to murder a kid, who didn't do anything other than that the kid wanted to become a musician, like his distant relative, who Ernesto murdered. I would also give him the death sentence through public execution. Ernesto deserved it.

@@jaydenlenzy3487 ask Wicked Binge. We do know that the dead die a second time, when they're forgotten. It's literally what we see in the movie, when Hector sings to a fellow dead who's last known relative forgot them and themselves die, and the same thing almost happen to Hector when Coco is basically so old, she barely remembers him, and is only reminded when her grand kid, or how far back he is in the line, sings the song Hector, her father, basically created just for her.

They did it and the minor villains got lucky as they only sentenced Axelrod and Professor Z (who both got the death penalty) and Francesco Bernoulli (who isn’t evil but did commit crimes prior to the movie)

Actually I think Ernesto's canon punishment is worse than the one he gets in this video. Sure, he got crushed under a giant bell, but that cannot kill you in the Land of the Dead. You have to be completely forgotten, and as long as Hector is remembered and his songs are sung, so will Ernesto be remembered. Now, Ernesto is trapped under a giant bell for eternity. It's pitch black. It's a tiny space. It's lonely. And he just fell from grace, so he's already been traumatized by being crushed by a giant bell twice. Even if he did get out, he could no longer do anything he loves. He would be locked out of his home and shunned everywhere he went. And he would be in for a rude surprise the next Dia de los Muertos when he no longer received any offerings from fans. And worst of all, he is living with the knowledge that every moment of his life was spent trying to prolong his existence in the Land of the Dead.

Ernesto deserves severe punishments and then some. I would argue though, before the Riveras got a wake up call, Abuela Elena arguably should’ve got some time of community service due to how much she has harrassed people when they were simply passing by playing their music. It was one thing for them to uphold their grudge against music, but they didn’t have to bother other people for it. I mean really though, why couldn’t they move to a more quiet community for that matter?

Quite honestly, you can make a case for emotional abuse and distress towards a minor for a lot of the family members. The way they treat Miguel if he so much as looks at an instrument is abuse.
