Very good match, solid technique from Jamie. He took everything he that last round, reminded me of Devon Larrat. Top roll into climb, into bleeding, into press finish. About the production, we couldn't hear you Ryan as you were asking questions to the athletes. Otherwise it's looking very sharp. Good stuff!

Forgive the noob question, because, well, that’s what I am 😂… but, when it is not a “referee’s grip,” why does the referee still basically do the whole setup for the athletes?

So the ref will, at first, assist the athletes in getting a fair grip, or at the very least a grip all of them are satisfied with. If, within a time frame decided by the referee or the rule set, there is no fair grip achieved, then a "referee's grip" will be called, meaning the athletes MUST obey all commands of the referee during the set up or they'll receive a foul.
