Two brothers who were separated during the 1947 #IndiaPakistanPartition, had an emotional #reunion when they met for the first time in 74 years in #KartarpurCorridor. According to The Tribune, Muhammad Siddiq is a resident of Pakistan's Faislabad, whereas Habib is from India's Punjab.
The reunion was an initiative by Punjabi Lehar channel, the process for which began almost two years back. The channel has reunited many other families across border.

It is stated that sikhs of amritsar and surrounding areas made jathas to expell and kill muslims from eastern Punjab. Also after 1947. 5 lakh muslim died trying to cross the border either by train or by foot. 4 trains back to back full of bodies were sent to pakistan. Amazing initiative by Pakistanis to open the kartarpur and made amazing renovations to accommodate the sikh community of India. This video brings tears of joys to my eyes. Punjabi people are the most loving and lively people you can ever know doesn't matter if they're from Punjab Pakistan or Punjab India. I'm give credit where credit is due. Love all.

@@gka4004 They were meeting in the Gurdwara as that is the open space to meet without any problem. Thankfully the Kartarpur Corridor is making it possible for the people from both the countries to meet their loved ones who were separated in 1947.
