Sorry about my neglectfulness. I go busy and just plain forgot to ever post a follow up on our Septic Genie results. So here's how it ended. I used the Septic Genie for about a year and a half. During that time we had zero septic issues. Before we installed it our septic had completely failed. We were having to have it pumped our every 30 to 40 days. It was getting expensive. Then after installing Septic Genie, as I mentioned, we had no more issues. Then, after 18 months or so, the city offered to instal city sewer to our neighborhood. Planning to sell the house, we thought it would be a good selling feature to have city sewer. So we bit the bullet and had it installed. I sold the Septic Genie to a friend and that's the end of the story. I hope that helps.

Absolutely I would. It worked exactly like the company said it would. With 9 people living in my house for six months straight (I pastor a church and we often take in hurting people) my septic system failed. Our toilets started backing up when it rained and my septic tank would fill up to the top within 2 weeks of having it emptied. The cost of a new septic system was way out of my price range. So after several weeks of research I took the risk and ordered a septic genie. I installed it in about 4 hours. I turned it on and after 6 hours of running the water in my system went from a brownish tint with lots of raw sewage - to almost clear and no raw sewage. I had seen that same result on youtube from other septic genie owners but it was still hard for me to believe. My toilets never backed up again - even when it rained for days. I would remove the tank lid and look into my septic tank every few weeks and it always amazed me how clear the water was. Within one to three months after installing the septic genie I notice that the grass was greener where the leach field was - which was a clear sign that the septic genie had begun healing my septic leach lines. It completely healed my septic system within a 4 to 6 months. After using the septic genie for approximately one year our neighborhood got city sewer and we had it run to our house. I live close to the water in South Florida and our county government will soon require all city residents to use the city's sewer system. So I recently removed the septic genie from my tank and I've cleaned and packed it away. I will soon sell it on ebay or Craig's list. I hope you have the same great luck with the septic genie that I did. Now that I know the science behind the whole septic system process it only makes since that the septic genie would work. Let me know if you are interested in a septic genie that is a year old. The makers report that the septic genie lasts for many years. I am going to sell it at a serious discount. Sorry for the delayed reply. It's working wonderfully! The first week that installed the Septic Genie the water in the tank cleared up ad the smell was completely nonexistent. I have been using it all this time and we've had not back up's at all. I do not have as many people living with me now, 4 adults, but the septic genie seems to cause the waist to biodegrade so quickly that it has allowed time for my septic fields to self repair. I could not be more pleased.

Not so dumb if you were in my situation. My septic system was completely nonfunctional as a result of too many people in my home over a 9 month period of time. I had to have my tank pumped out roughly every three weeks at $200 bucks a pop. Septic company explained to me that my septic system was failed. They said that all my leech lines were clogged with solids and that I needed a completely new septic system. The cost would be between 10 and 15 thousand dollars. After a lot of research, I found the Septic Genie. I'm sure it doesn't work for everybody. But it worked exactly as advertised for me. As I watched it at work, it appeared to pump so much air into my septic tank that all of the solids were broken down into very tiny, tiny pieces. Then the bacteria bag that comes with the system seemed to do the rest. It broke what was left of the solids into such minuscule particles that within 24 hours of running I couldn't see any solids in my tank....none!...not even any toilet paper. I saw a couple of Q-tips floating on the surface but no pooh or paper. After 2 days of running there was no longer that nasty pooh smell when I lifted my tank lid. The water in my tank was as clear as drinking water. I spent $1300.00 bucks on the system and probably would not have done that if it hadn't come with a 1 year no questions asked warranty. So say what you will, It worked for me and apparently has worked for many others. I don't want to argue with you. Just want to share my experience if it helps. Good luck.
