So had a little bit of time with my youngest son today and took the truck out to one of my favorite spots to test out how the reworked parts would hold up.. butcher Jones 4peak area first cove drop in .. lost power steering on the first big hill (I had done a temporary fix before leaving Michigan and forgot about it)so no 4wd and no power steering in the videos but we ran it anyway be sure to check out my other videos for more info on what’s done to my sequoia or please like and comment have a good night

Offset is easy to fix with hub centric spacers at a fraction of the cost of new wheels.. I’ll be doing a update video soon thanks for watching

Love it. I bought at 2WD a couple of months ago for 3200. Wish it was a 4WD. Any hope I raised it and got 33 inch tires. Love my tree and this video encourages me to go off road. Thanks for the inspiration.

Your build is inspiring. Have a 2wd sequoia and in my experience it is a pretty capable machine, the extra articulation definitely helps enhance it. Thinking about going with the 3" rear springs with a 29" shock in the back. and 2" in the front. FYI: I saw on the forums that 3rd gen tundra rear shocks also bolt on and are 26" long stock.

I was running the 3” lift ome overland springs and a 2nd gen tundra shock made for 4-8” lift but no rear sway bar is the trick. I would recommend them if you don’t mind the lift height. I’m currently building all new stuff so I’ll be posting new videos soon

@@theclan4adventures Cant wait to see how the build is doing. WIth the 3" springs and 30" shocks, did you ever have the springs pop out? I didn't see any other mods to the rear (besides sway bar delete and disconnected brake line bracket) in your other videos

The passengers side did move slightly once. That’s why I ran two screws into the isolators So they would act as guides the exact measurement for the shock I was running is 29.49” about 1” longer than the long travel dobinsons

I built it. Everything on my truck was done by me. I just did a new walk around video as well as a wheeling video so make sure you check them out

Is this a 4wd Sequoia in 2wd mode or a straight up 2wd? I am looking for one in 4wd but worndering if I should just go 2wd.

Mine is normally 4wd. Depending on the trails you’d be really surprised where they can go in just 2wd with the right mods and tires I have a video wheeling with my friends they had lockers and 4wd I didn’t and pretty much out wheeled them so look for a 4wd one if you can but you might not want to pass up a good deal on a 2wd

@@theclan4adventures I been focusing on the 4x4 since I am interested in overlanding but I am seeing way better deals on 2wd versions. Maks me want to look a bit more at what a 2wd can do.

@@Being_Joe all about the setup and driver. I run a different set up then everyone else does on my sequoia and I’m getting ready to change it again ..it was in storage for 8 months and I’m starting to work on it currently
