Great news for DJs using Official Serato Accessories.
With the Serato DJ Pro 3.1.0 update, you can now use your OSAs (including CDJs/Media Players, MIDI turntables, and controllers) to directly control Serato Stems - no fuss, no custom mapping required.

It’s one thing for your resident DJ to show off but to let your video editor show off too is just sick. Cutting between 6 videos to the beat makes the rest of KZfaq DJ/Video editors look weak. Nicely done

Thanks for making this happen. For the XP2, would be great if it's possible to have option to replace samples on page 1 of pads so that it's possible to have hot cues on buttons 1-8 and stems under them on pads 9-16. I've midi-mapped this already but would be great to have it as standard. Though perhaps that an option on a new add on OSA to be released in future? If so, FX knobs, not FX slider would be great....

I’m in the same boat. My XP2 is already mapped that way but did serato take the sample override out?? Losing cues is ridiculous.

Please please please add the option of replacing SAVED LOOP on the DJM S7... I use Hot cues sampler and roll just not SAVE LOOP and i have no choice but to replace it with slicer which requires me to press shift....

A lot of people don’t care for or like the serato effects coming from computer and prefer on-board effects in controllers. What is Serato going to do about that? And What can they do about that of anything?

Thank you for the sp1 confirmation,,but if I'm correct,SP1 has to be used with sl 4 box or Denon ds1 box, or v3.0 compatible mixerwhy isn't this information about SP1 compatibility listed on the official serato website,TY

Are going to improve Grid Analysis in the next version? Coming from Traktor, I realised that the grid analysis of Serato is pretty weak. For 60% of the songs I need to fix them.

I wonder if you can switch between CDJ Hot Cues and Stems on the hardware itself at the click of a button? Or if you'd have to go through the settings on Serato. Anyone know? (specifically for CDJ 2000s and 3000s)

I have cdj 3000's and 900nxs2 mixer and i midi mapped a button on the mixer to switch back and forth and it works fine.

Hey Serato. I just got my new REV 5 last week, updated to the latest serato 3.1.2, and I have issues with sound cutting out anytime I use stems, or any fx. I'm using windows 11 with over 30GB of free storage and an intel core i7 8650U processor. Can y'all help me out?

Yes, the Novation Dicers are still supported in Serato DJ Pro 3.1.0. However, the "Replace Accessory Hardware Pad Mode with Stems" is not supported on the Dicers. You can MIDI map the stems to the Dicers though ☺️

No change to the way tidal works in Serato with this release :)

That was done by Tidal not Serato. They did it with all DJ software.

I’ve been a Serato user for years but y’all need to fix the issue where if you rename a folder and place it somewhere different, it’ll still load the songs in my custom crates bcuz now I have to individually go through and remake around 70 crates containing over 400 songs each that I built over the years.. Great software but library management sucks and is prolly the worst I’ve ever seen. If I didn’t spend so much time n money on Serato subscriptions and expansion packs I’d definitely explore other options. The relocate lost files feature is trash. Fix ur software cuz this the 5th time I’m stuck rebuilding crates. I bet I’ll have the same issue when I buy a new macbook again bcuz y’all never take constructive criticism. 😐

No compatible ddj 400 👎🤮 Le seul logiciel n'est pas compatible avec ddj 400 c'est serato, virtual dj compatible, traktor pro compatible , djay pro compatible, rekordbox compatible, serato no compatble 👎 vous devriez faire un mise jours pour qu'il soit compatible avec tous les controller dj c'est vraiment nul c'est abusé.

Just open up serato to use any hardware already ffs. Serato pro is such a waste of money. The irony is you try and promote yourself as an ethical for the people company. But your company position towards environmental waste by restricting what hardware is allowed to be used on serato is complete trash.
