This was the match that Coco V talked about beating Serena in her Pre-interview. Coco looked star-strucked by Serena.

Coco was and has always been way too cocky. She was talking like she was going to beat Serena and got her ass whooped. She thought because they had a closer match in Stanford, she was going to win. Serena had such a busy summer, and was tired.

Serena beat Coco in Stanford right after winning Wimbledon before Serena went back to London for the Olympics. I watched that match and Serena played about 60-70% and still won... By the time the US Open came about, Serena had recovered physically from winning at the Olympics and playing Cincy... She still was in good form and very fit and recharged
