A Harvard Study on child protegies in various fiels, specially in sports concluded that if the child is exposed to more than one field, and that broad experience provides him or her the better life in adulthood which helps to establish longer profeassional life and full-filled life. So in Selgei's case, he is doing the right thing to explore various way to dance traveling to other culture. This time of exploration will hopefully give him solid wisdom in life. Слушая бесчисленные умозаключения в интервью с Цискаридзе остаётся неприятный осадок, хотя Цискаридзе очень образованный и эрудированный человек, но он неприятный, не вызывает положительных эмоций. Полунин высказывает очень правильные вещи, и по поводу балетного образования, и репертуара в театрах, и о том, что сюжеты классических балетов устарели и не воспринимаемы сейчас. Он не умеет так рафинировано излагать свои мысли как "гений" Цискаридзе, но Сергей очень приятный, лишённый звёздной высокомерности человек. От него действительно идёт положительный заряд. Танцовщик он прекрасный, удачи ему в продвижении своих проектов. "Великий" Цискаридзе тоже, кстати критику никогда не читает.

Excellent interview. Good probing questions but respectful. Very sad at the end when he said the major theaters were now closed to him. I hope it is because of his diminished technique - as much as I agree that the artist is most important, excellent technique has to be the foundation to perform as lead with a major company - and not his tweets, which were poorly phrased unfortunately but not so awful as to be a sufficient reason to bar a talent like Sergei’s.
