This video is the best. Thank you. I’ve been using my Imagine Serger to make masks daily. I remove trimmed fabric pieces after each step, every dozen. At the end of the day, I vacuum and brush the lint and apply oil before bedtime. I had been using a Dirt Devil Scorpion Max Power hand held vacuum with a small attached flip extension. It can be positioned close to the looper section to suck the brushed lint, one hand holding vac while brushing with the other. Loved it, but with the extreme use of mask-making, I was cleaning out the vac chamber too often. I found a better vac for constant Serger cleaning: an ArmorAll AA255, 2.5 gals. tank with 2 HP. Because it Is designed for auto detailing, it comes with a set of small brush attachments perfect for Serger cleaning single handed. It sits on the floor or can be wall mounted.

I have a singer ultralock 14u234 and the manual doesn't say anything about oiling....I know it needs some. Still looking for a clip about it. Hoping someone will put it out there.

Hi everyone, I have a Toyota Serger SL3304 which jams, needles and threading are fine the side wheel will turn for a while and then jams, this happens in reverse as well, I am tearing my hair out, can anyone offer an ideas please on resolving this problem? many thanks

You didn’t remove all the covers and get the other parts?

I removed everything that can be removed without voiding the warranty. I use the hose to reach the places further in. I do take my machines in to be cleaned and serviced professionally once a year.

I thought that Babylock does not recommend oiling your serger.

My manual says not to oil. I don’t think oiling as shown here would hurt if you aren’t having the machine regularly serviced. I have mine serviced regularly 12-18 month intervals.

Did you really say “you’ll need your serger”?

I did because I get comments saying why didn't you say to have your serger. I even got a comment for a sewing project asking "why didn't you mention needing thread?" Now, I do my best to leave nothing left.
