Part 2 of the 4 episode Dead Sea mini-series. In this episode we make our first stop in Qasr el Yahud, the the place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist (Matthew 3). It is also the same place where the children of Israel crossed the Jordan river over to the promise land (Joshua 3). And in the very same place, Elijah and Elisha split the waters and crossed on dry ground (2 Kings 2).

You bring back memories for me. I was in that very same place but on the Jordanian side just a few weeks after I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and was born again. Amen to you both for such a wonderful tour in the Lands of the Bible.

I think it's safe to say the Lord wanted U2 back in Israel for this reason. These videos are such a blessing, a real and honest look at the holy land from a personal prospective that documeterys can't duplicate. If you read Joshua it never says anything about the stones being replaced, be careful to add to the scriptures. It states this: Jos 4:7 “Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Yarděn were cut off before the ark of the covenant of יהוה. When it passed over the Yarděn, the waters of the Yarděn were cut off. And these stones shall be for a remembrance to the children of Yisra’ěl forever.” *FOREVER* God keeps his Covenants forever, he renewed the covenant, YUP… You Guess it, with who? That’s right the 12 Tribes of Israel. Read your Bible brothers and sisters.

My mom went to Israel twice with Baruch ha Shem, a messianic temple in Dallas. She was baptized in the Jordan River. I'm so glad I have pictures, but watching you there is like being there for me. Thank you so much for sharing Israel with us.

Love it. I think Jesus was here to bring attention to the divide. Knew he couldn't solve it till the final trumpet call. I used to despise god as cruel until I realized that why he sent Jesus. To teach us about the divide, and it will exist until Satan is defeated.
