He was absolutely one of the best Warriors player we've ever had. So skillful, and happy he left and won a premiership with the Rooster's, because he deserved it.

he's one of the greatest halves/5/8 the game has seen. steered the warriors to a gf. lead the roosters to a gf win. carried the sharks to their first gf win, without him sharks don't win. one of the most consistent halves, defensively solid not afraid to put him body on the line, in the grind.

Massive respect to Maloney for ringing up Townsend after that game he got benched. That's a sign of a true leader and champion bloke, one of the best 5/8th's of all time, top 10 for sure
