I think the stories are shit, Ten hag wont be sacked and no decision on it would be taken until AFTER the final. Given the mess of manager changes right now and the sheer lack of proven BETTER talent, I just dont see INEOS wasting time sacking a manager when they can easily give him time, do good squad overhauls in the summer and get much more done.

Congrats Terry, seems like you’ll get what you want. To repeat the cycle of throwing managers under the bus and sacking them after 18 to 36 months at the club. At this rate Man Utd will never come back and will always repeat the cycle. No manger in the last 7 years was really backed in the transfer windows. First of all: Players came at too high price tag because Man Utd negociator was terrible, without the manager being involved in the transfer price tag. There were more players that came at Man Utd, which were not the priority of that current manager, but the board came up with it as it had big name and the manager had to deal with it and take the blame if those players were flops. In the last 7 years Man Utd spent huge, but it wasn’t because of their managers, as they were not in the part of the deal. And the manager gave their target players before the transfer window even opened. But you and many other people ignored this fact for all these years, which is crucial to tell you why all those 4, 5 managers flopped at Man Utd in a similar way. With no style of football in the end. Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ole, Ragnick and Ten Hag had the same issue here. Ragnick and Ten Hag having a similar style of football, while Ole has a different style of football, Mourinho has a different style of football and Van Gaal has a different style of football. Yet all their teams for most of the time had similar way of playing, which was no style of football. Another thing to say is that managers were never allowed to get rid of players they wanted to, which goes against the managers. Another aspect to look at, Man Utd has probably the most overrated squad for 7 years straight. There are players from 4 different managers, whereas I said each manager has their own style of football. So you have some players that works with possession based obsession, parking the bus way with counter attacks, mid to high line defence with counter attacks, high pressure and direct football and playing from the back all the way to the opponent half to create chances and recover the ball as soon as you lose it. If you combine all the players that were brought in for different tactic reasons, will obviously fail together and make whoever the manager is look like an idiot that has no football style. Man Utd priority for this Summer according to squad, should’ve been to have 7, 8 players leaving and bringing in 8 to 10 new players. 3 of them could be from the youth team. Sacking the manager again, ruins the chance of real progress again and repeat the cycle, but end up destroying the Man Utd squad even more further. Man Utd seems to have a problem with medical staff too, as whenever a player is out of form or the team seems to go into a hard period, many players are getting out injured, as it was with this season too. Medics are either not good enough to help players with resistance and recovery or they cover up for the players over exaggerating pains. One example of their incompetence is Phil Jones. He was very good until he got his first 2 injuries, where the medics didn’t identify that he wasn’t 100% fit, which caused him to become injury prone. Same with Martial and seems to be similar with Shaw too. Pogba was another one that after 1 or 2 injuries at Man Utd, he became injury prone after that. The medics are either bad at what they have to do or they are way too easy to fool with fake injuries. All of these should tell you that at Man Utd the problems don’t come from managers, they are one of the bottom list of problems. But go ahead and sack another manager with similar reason

Remember that this same group of decision makers at Arsenal wanted Isak in 2022. He turned out to be a very good player in the PL. I would argue we need a proven killer upfront. All of our problems from previous seasons seem to be from a lack of clutch players upfront in key games. Sesko isn't proven clutch, so I would say no, but Arteta will do what Arteta will do.

I think the way the INEOS have handled the whole managerial situation has been terrible. For people who are supposedly great at what they do, it's been a complete mess. 0 clarity, appears like there is 0 planning and as Terry said the 4 managers on list all seem very different stylistically making it look like there is also no consensus on the direction they want to go in.
