Purple Bounce cards are here to stay. Set 2 introduces the self bounce mechanics and turns out they're quite strong and generate some insane card advantage. Ruby/Amethyst Gameplay in Pixelborn Lab to begin brewing ideas for set 2 focused on Amethyst Merlin and Madam Mim bouncing mechanics.

I think this purple core will be strong with a ton of other color combos as well. I really like red though because of how great be prepared and mauis are. I think 6 drop lady tremaine might also become a big force to be reckoned with. Especially in a self bounce deck.

Have you tried Scar instead of Be Prepared? It has been VERY good against me out of midrange decks. Because your deck plays a decent number of characters it seems like it could have potential.

I haven't tried scar but I've definitely fallen victim to a scar attacking infinite times with cogsworth resist lol.

Yea i seem in so many red purple decks I've faced... I guess he flew under my radar. Probably a better 3 drop than minnie mouse.@@georgemarquez4308

I’ve been using milk and it’s served me so well. The last 6 weeks in league I’ve gone 21-3 and feel comfortable piloting it. People claim it’s not top tier but I feel it is. I’m hitting a win a case even this weekend. What changes would you recommend to the mill build given the full set list is now available?

Man I've been testing a quite a bit of mill and its going through some massive additions. I've been testing green donald duck, Pete in place of kuzco, cinderella shift package, beast tragic hero, benja, hercules shift package, jafar shift package... I think it still has great potential in set 2. Donald duck for sure is a keeper, and the rest needs a lot more testing and feel for the metagame.

Yeah I’ve theory crafted it with a lot of the shift packages as they’re all inkable and just smooths out the curve, especially early game. Pete I hadn’t considered so il look into that. Thanks

I was even looking at the queen as a way to either sing mother knows best or to discard a high quester from hand before wheeling. What Donald where you considering? Both have merit, one for the tempting card draw for your opponent and one for the big butt and bonuses from actions

@@territhomson3557 4 drop donald duck is king. Both of you draw, but you're just trying to draw your AWNW cards and you don't care if your opponent draws (actually you prefer if they do since you're gonna wheel their hand away). Pete is amazing. Warded singer, who can easily quest for 4 with this deck by singing 2 songs. He can also just trade into a ton of stuff when u play any action. Absolute powerhouse and slam dunk kuzco replacement. The queen is uninkable and that is a huge hit to this deck.

Yeah man that sounds good. I noticed the prototype you had up on your deck lists, what was the 1 bibidibobidiboo for? And how do you think it fares against the newer amber steel that’s being played with the 1 drop singer Cinderella and the shift queen? Thanks for the help man

How do you deal will all new new damage pings from steel?

To be honest, in my games I haven't run to much steel ping decks yet. Once pixelborn finishes up all the card coding, I expect the metagame start to take shape fairly quickly for testing. But as a general rule, when I see my opponents on steel, 1 and 2 HP cards like pascal and maleficent and stuff go down in value so i'll use them more as ink and try and get on board with 3 toughness + characters.

I think the old R/P draw engine with magic mirror is inferior to merlin rabbit and too slow. Fox Mim > Rafiki. Merlin Rabbit > magic mirror. Lady tremaine could be better than ursula/elsa/dragonfire but I haven't tested her yet so that remains to be seen. Goat merlin seems equivalent or maybe better than jafar/pongos. Snake mim and early drops could replace befuddles/gastons. I think we will for sure see purple bounce in the metagame in several decks including R/P.

@@xXbabyblazingXx Yes, lady tremaine is an insane card, Yzma that shuffles character for 2 cards also seem good. Otherwise, the core of the deck should remain the same. Definitely get rid of evasive minnie, and maybe sub out pinnochio if you want to go more control. If you go control type route, probably get rid of some more 1 drops (but not pascal)

I felt like he just didn't quite do enough to make the cut into the deck space. If a few more cards I want to test don't end up panning out, I will give him a try, especially in place of something like evasive minnie mouse.

Reflection is clearly there to help enable the new mulan, but amber/amethyst doesnt really have the songs you want to use mulan to cheat out. Otherwise, reflection is trash lol. Why did they not let you put the cards on bottom?
