What is this logic "she took so long, she cant have KJ"? If you have KJ you should DEFINITELY make it look like you are struggling to call in order to get everyone in the pot. Where do they find these commentators?

Yea I would've done the same thing with KJ to get a call from behind. I don't doubt there would have been a noticeable difference between my fake tanking & genuine anguish, but if you didn't know me(and I'm not a reg here) you wouldn't really be able to distinguish that. I definitely wouldn't snap call here with the nuts with Jamie still left to act.

The thing is i don't see why KJ would do that. It's not like it's some unbeatable hand on the turn. KJ tanking to get a call you would have to be real confident it's gonna hold just for some more action. Wouldn't make sense if she had KJ.
@JonSnow-sd1hl

This one's really tough. The main problem from Monah's perspective is that the AA villain doesn't really have bluffs in his range after the action on the flop (he jams turn after getting 2 calls for his check raise on flop = very strong hand). So it comes down to can this guy have AKhh or AQ in his range, anything else you're really losing to. The other problem is the fact that she has a player acting behind her and this is actually a good thing for her because he's more likely to be on a draw given his passive play, so if she calls she's pricing him in to also call, and this could actually improve her pot odds. Also, if she prices him in and someone has a KJ then she's getting better pot odds 3 ways to hit a boat.

If you're ever folding any of the sets here, then you're playing above your bankroll and actually care about the money. You should be playing with money that you can afford to lose, and in that case, a set, even on a board with Broadway, is just a mandatory call here. Heck, some people would even shove with AK and definitely with AQ. This is just a cooler, no getting away from it. Just play at limits you can afford to lose, not higher than what your bankroll allows.

I think we can agree QQ should've limp raised(or just go for an open raise utg to begin with, in which case AA 3bets)...in either scenario, I would've been able to get away from it pre. As for me, I was 3betting a TON this night(I had very few flats preflop) so I wanted to mix it up & I knew people were going to start 4betting me once they caught on. I honestly don't mind going 3 ways with 10's and I'm generally not a massive fan of 3betting that hand unless theres a raise and at least a couple of calls before it gets back to me. I think part of the reason we 3bet tens is to capitalize on some fold equity from cards like off suit broadways that have nearly 50% equity with us, and keep in mind Mac does have an limping range, even from the cutoff, so any hand he is opening is calling a 3bet. I 3bet him several times and he called each time, and I didn't want to be oop with 10s in an inflated pot against a player known for bluffing. Obviously it would've saved me a buyin here, but I'm not going to be results oriented because I think I'd play it the same way pre again

If you can point to your results or a stream you've been on, I'll shut up. If not, you have no leg to stand on. The only "nit" in this hand is Jamie and he had just gotten stacked with AA by 106o, so while I wouldn't play it as he did, he was being cautious. Let me guess, you studied poker in like 2015 and think people can never donk lead, they have to check raise, right? The game has evolved. People donk lead now, it's an acceptable play and I've explained several times in the comment thread why I did it. If you don't have the comprehension to understand that, then go study. You won't go very far if you underestimate your opponents based on the fact that they're playing $2/2. I usually play $2/5 and did on stream Friday, and I'm fairly certain Mac is mainly a $2/5 player as well. We know about blockers. You aren't special for knowing about blockers. I know $1/2 players, hell I know microstakes players who know blockers. Before you say I'm a nit for not 3betting 10's preflop, go watch the stream. I 3bet majority of the pots i entered. You should never be doing anything at 100% frequency in poker. You can't categorize someone as a nit based on a single hand. That's how I know you don't play poker at any real capacity.

I'm very polite at the table if people offer to buy me drinks or hit on me. I never complain about the treatment of women in poker. In real life, I've never been disrespected by a poker player. Online, that's all they do. I just got off 3 days of live streams where I read hundreds of stupid comments from people who are at home watching poker and not playing it and frankly have no idea what they're talking about, so excuse me for being extra sick of losers on the internet insulting real people while hiding behind a screen. I'll talk shit with my name and face attached. By all means, insult my play under your full name and I can look into you to see if you're worth paying any mind. If not, at least offer constructive criticism. I'm far from perfect. I've made a ton of mistakes, especially in these streams. I was nervous about playing on camera for the first time. I will never defend my plays because I don't know all the answers, I can only explain my reasoning at the time. Tilly had money from being an actress, I don't really have respect for her as a poker player(kelly I respect)..but I've had to build a 2/5 roll on my own. So if someone's going to talk crap on me, they should AT THE VERY MINIMUM have accomplished at least that and if they're a 2/5 reg anywhere in the US, I probably know someone who plays in the same region and can verify it. If you're going to call us all terrible, just do it under your own name or at least drop relevant knowledge. If you're a microstakes player or someone who plays $1/2 occasionally, again, opinion is irrelevant and I will call anyone out if they are going to insult me and the other nice people on the stream when it's unwarranted. Plenty of people in this comment thread are having civil discussions even though they have different opinions on the hand. The inability to do the same shows he lacks any social skills on top of knowing nothing about poker. Plenty of people have told me this was a bad call. I respect that. I do not respect someone insinuating I don't understand blockers just because I happened to be playing a $2/2 stream on that particular night. There's a jam on the turn & two tank calls.... It's very reasonable to tank with 10's there, it is over 200bb and some people think it's an easy fold. Others think its a snap call. Regardless, you're definitely a worse player than anyone in the video considering you can't even properly follow the action in a hand you visually witnessed in a video where they're spelling it out for you so that's rich coming from you lol. If you can't even follow the action on each street, you need remedial poker training. Also Mac did absolutely nothing wrong in the hand, so for you to call him a terrible player just highlights how big your ego is for literally no reason. Until there's legit proof of you playing poker at a higher level, you're just a bitter loser in the comments who doesn't even understand flops, turns, and rivers. I don't know anyone who seriously plays poker that would make that error. Lmao its rich that you're going to tell someone not to break your balls when you willingly came here calling people terrible while hiding behind a computer screen. Easy to do when no one knows how you play. But just judging by your comment, I can tell you have no clue. I notice you didn't comment on the poker part of anything I said because you likely lack the ability to stand your ground in a discussion about poker strategy. As I said, even if Jamie & I are terrible (I promise you I'm not. The fact that like 30% of people think tens are an easy fold shows this is not that easy of a decision), regardless, Mac did absolutely nothing wrong in the hand. To call him terrible unless you've seen other hands from him shows you know nothing about poker. There's absolutely no other way he could have played the hand. 5000bb? You'll never even see 1000bb. 10's is definitely a fold here at even 500bb and its not even close. I guess you don't understand tanking because you don't think about your decisions or put your opponents on ranges. It's obvious you're a level 1 player who just plays the cards in their hand and that's it, not sure why I even thought you'd be capable of discussing a hand in a meaningful way.

Not only did two other players have 8- and 9 respectively for set-over-set-over-set, but a 4th player had 10-J and flopped the nut straight! It was a pot-limit and I was first to act. I went "Pot" which was a relatively small amount at that moment. But all 3 other players also went "Pot" so when it came back to me it was really and easy fold with my bottom set. Those 3 other players were all-in at the flop, of course. And the turn came a 7! I Would have had quads :))) The top set of 9's ended up winning. Unreal. I would love to know the odds of this happening. I'll never forget it.

Love how clueless fish commentators keep calling fairly straightforward spots as "weird"
