Set top Box manual search to receive digital amateur TV.

Күн бұрынAmateur digital TV is often transmitted on the 70cm amateur band. Auto frequency searching using a set top box or TV will not find the signal because 70cm amateur band is not included in the search. This video shows how to manually search for a specific frequency, the procedure is similar for most receivers that allow manual search. Note, the digital signal must be present before searching. The USA and other parts of the world use 6M, 6 MHz digital bandwidth so set accordingly.

No, only during the net on a Monday night from 7:30pm AEST. Members can manually turn it on at other times as required.

Excellent video. I am located in Sydney also. Does the Lawson TV repeater transmit 24/7 ?

Hi Henry, thanks for the kind words. We have a Monday night net from 7:30 pm AEST till usually 9:00 pm. Voice talkback is on the 147.325 MHz + offset repeater.

@@5Perf65mm Hi Henry T, good to know your watching via the stream. Any 70cm amateur band yagi antenna will give you a good chance of receiving our ATV transmission. You don't have to be an amateur radio operator to text us on the BATC stream, let me know your watching and i'll give you a mention.
