I love that Seth's mother let her hair go white and didn't do anything to try and hide it. So many people are afraid of getting old, but those who embrace their hair going white without trying to hide it hold a special place in my heart.

When Seth says "...that´s because when you smile your eyes close" has to be one of the all time mom heart melters. And regarding the flinch test, I´m sure I have the most flinchy father on earth, It´s litterally like Seth does, even letting him know what you are going to do, still gets a theatrical flinch

Hope he does more day drinking episodes with his family now that he’s brought the series back and gone full swing with it. I know the pandemic has caused a few gaps between episodes but it seems like every time it’s safe he’s been returning to it with even more passion than the original episodes and it’s one of my favorite things he does because it makes both him and his guests seem even more kind and lovely and human than even his (amazing and caring and easy-going) interviews do

From a French person, I would say that I laughed a lot when they did the scene! 😂 XD Instead of saying "un mémoire", Seth's mom could have said "un souvenir" because, to keep the good sense of it, a memory = "un souvenir". "Un mémoire" is a written document about facts, ideas or a request. "Un mémoire" = a brief, a memoir...
