Hi R! Beautiful project as always! Just wanted to mention Paper Artsy had a pale pink similar to the Portrait Pink called “VINTAGE LACE”. It’s a perfect shade TFS💕 Look forward to your next one Blessings🙏

I was inspired last night after rewatching your ‘gellidex’ videos to create an ‘Ancient Walls’ themed one! Each section has its own pallete but similar paints/colors were used throughout. Thank you for sharing your insights into the gelli plate process and how to use the prints! Merry Christmas to you and your family!🎄🙏

Howdy Robin, I'm so glad that I'm subscribed with the bell. I had a few minutes this morning and this video popped up! So far, this is my all-time fave video of yours. It's not TOO long, your collage process for these cards with VO is educational, and the cards are 'eclectic'! I LOVE this video SO much - I'm going to watch it again... :-) Thanks for doing this one, this way! P.S. I LOVE playing cards (and PLAYING cards) so this video is perfect for my style. I might even try this cubism collage technique with some old Tarot cards I've been 'hoarding'. And maybe on some of my (common) Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards, too! That tip about the Dollar Tree tissue paper was super helpful, too. L-O-V-E your channel. Peace, LuLu

The layer after the black was just the addition of the Gelli printed heavy cream color in places though I didn’t cover the whole card I think it’s just that print had more of the old wall texture on it and then I added the words. I hope that answers your question 🥰✨💫

Really gorgeous, I love gelli printing and you have given my mojo a good kicking! Have you ever tried acrylic wax to seal your art? It gives a matt finish and waterproofs items without leaving a stickiness plus you still feel the paper and paint layers. I use it on my postcards so they dont get ruined if it rains on the postman 😄😁🤭

@@RobynMcClendon I bought a 300ml bottle made by COLOURCRAFT for £8 (same manufacturers of Brusho pigments) from Calder Art Supplies in Halifax, Yorkshire England. Colourcraft are based in Sheffield UK I think. Maybe your local art shops or an online art supplies would stock it? It is a lovely wax and doesn't feel waxy at all when it's dry. I put it on my art work either using a cloth, brush or sponge or anything else that is handy or close by lol! Check it out Robyn but if all else fails I can always see if I can ship it to you if it isn't a prohibited substance. www.calderartsupplies.co.uk/calder.php/id/002665

@@RobynMcClendon I was originally intending to buy that one. I know Artymaze (KZfaq lady) has used it on her arty bits (ephemera items and tags etc.) and I think she may have added something to it to give a vintage look. Sorry, I haven't ever tried that particular brand. Would you like me to get some from Calder Arts and ship it to you? I'm sure we could do a "swap" deal?

Hi Lise, I used a table runner with a cool feather pattern that I found in my last trip to Mexico. laid the wet paper on top and let dry :)
