It’s a bit surreal that this is done! What I’ve gathered from all the comments is that for season 2, most people want to see you build the collection in a way relatable to most (I.e not selling to people who know who Seth is) and sticking to the final goal (either build a collection, or stick to the planned grail) Either way, this was probably my favourite KZfaq series I regularly watch!

We spent an entire series for you to sell the most expensive sneaker in the collection to yourself and for your good friend who is not hurting for money to lower the price on a pair of shoes just for you. This series was supposed to show people they could build a collection with 20 bucks. What I think it showed them is, it pays to be Seth Fowler. He could have sold them for what he paid himself, he just wanted to keep the shoes. He shows the offer he was made so he could sell them for that if he wanted to do that. But the pair was a grail for him. It definitely did feel cheap that he bought the final shoes from a friend for much less than he'd have to pay for resell, but he's been using his name to rush the series and get it done quickly, or faster than the average person trying this. But he compressed so much and used his name/position to keep the "weekly" aspects of the series going, and keep making content from it, as the average person might got on long dry runs and find nothing or stagnant on the overall progress of doin this. He did this in less than one year, doing this for the average person will definitely take longer.

@@gilbertoflores7397 He easily could have made a fake eBay offer to show as proof. Nonetheless it feels cheap and destroys the whole purpose of the series. The new slogan should be "How to get your grails with 20 bucks. Oh and you need $2800 extra"
@gilbertoflores7397
@gilbertoflores7397 2 жыл бұрын
@@Michael_Schumacher that's a bit of an unfair way of looking at it, he did show multiple offers, and said he picked an average bid, not the least or highest bid. The shoes are around that value, probably even a bit more, because he was trying to give himself a deal its not too bad of a thing to do. You also need to consider that the final shoes he wanted came up for a too good to be true offer and he needed to liquidate his inventory to pay for the shoes, something like that might take longer to get a payout than he'd like, so its not a cheap thing to do, buying the the Dior 1 from his friend for a significant discount is definitely a cop out, but buying the shoes off himself is something he's done a few times during this series, he usually did it for cheapest price he could too.
@Michael_Schumacher
@Michael_Schumacher 2 жыл бұрын
@@gilbertoflores7397 I agree that it is a rather unfavorable way of looking into things, I just wanted to show the possibility. Normally I also wouldn't complain about it, but that it happened in the finale left a sour taste in my mouth. He shouldn't have made a deal with his friend if he was 7K short in funds at that time. The whole ending feels rushed because of it and kinda cheated too, especially because of the 3K discount at the end that no normal person would get.

The fact that the seller decided to 'take a bit of a loss because it's Seth Fowler' completely invalidates the whole transaction for me. People weren't happy about the trades for the exact same reason, and you tried to change that! But this on the final episode leaves a bit of a stink on it for me. @@joshsingleton711 now I never said I have a problem. That being said, it’s entertaining when Seth is able to buy cool shoes. BUT it does kinda break the idea that anyone can start a collection with $20 and get grails when you realize most of this series wasn’t possible without the help of others.

@@TheRealCptObvious1 You're right. You never said you had a problem with it. Those are my words. I just had to realize that at some point it turned from a cool adventure to more of entertainment. I was just really let down that he got shoes from another famous youtuber who can afford to take a loss.

Really enjoyed this series Seth and sad it’s ended. For me, it’s about the journey and not the destination. So great to see some of the more low keep pick ups along the way…of course I wouldn’t turn down the Diors though! Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Took short cuts through most of the series and took a shortcut to end the series. Disappointing as hell. Not anyone could do this and that’s supposed to be the point. Don’t know why you needed to rush this “season” just so you can keep doing the same thing in other seasons
