In this video, I go over Beerus and his journey to being so strong he's been above Goku for almost 10 years straight in real time. We go over his Ultra Insinct, Ultra Ego, and God of Destruction powers like Hakai and his form, as well as much of his new scaling in the Dragon Ball Super manga and anime that has impressed us even now. Even Black Frieza, current Ultra Instinct Goku, (probably) Gohan Beast, Manga Broly, and Ultra Ego Vegeta can't take him still. Possibly even all together.

In an interview Toriyama did in 2016 he literally stated that he had no plans for Goku and Vegeta to surpass either Beerus or Whis. Why do so many fans ignore this?

Nothing retconned. In the manga Beerus has always been stronger than Goku and Vegeta. This has been a consistent fact in the manga since it began. Peole only get confused because they think BS guidebooks and promotional material takes precedence over Toyotarou/Toriyama's direct manga , which just ins't true🤣

Every other super writer has gone with Goku being stronger with Ultra Instinct, but the manga is the only place where Goku can use Ultra Instinct freely. So functionally, Goku is still weaker than Beerus in all Super material. Goku just got a brief taste of the kind of power he will need to defeat Beerus in the anime.

There is one way to make the old-old-old statement of Goku being a 6 to Beerus's 10 make sense, and that's to turn those numbers from percentages to tier. Sort of like Goku was in tier 6 and Beerus was in tier 10 of power, and the differences between tiers is just insanely, incomparably massive, differences that get even larger between each successive tier. Still, even then, given all the power jumps we've seen, its a stretch.

Beerus sealed the old kai away because of his power to make people stronger like you said, in doing so he set events in motion that would lead to Gohan breaking the sword, releasing the Old Kai, Gohan having is potential unlocked, the conflict with Buu on the Kai planet making the Saiyan's on a "first name basis" with the Gods. These events lead to the Oracle fish having a vision, Beerus coming to look for his rival and the rest we know. So essentially Beerus sealing Old Kai lead to the events that made the boys so strong the Oracle fish had a vision of a rival for Beerus. It's full circle story telling, Beerus feared the power of Old Kai making someone stronger than him and in trying to prevent that, he set events in motion to create someone stronger than himself. AKA Self fulfilling prophecy

im glad to see seth still keeps making video. Regardless of the fact of their allegations of the past controversy, maybe is just me but I dont think somebody should Bad Creator + Good Content = Bad Content, I think the creator from their creations should be put apart and not look as the same, one should enjoy the creation even if the creator is bad, again thats my own opinion. Plus there is one big thing that internet does which is wanting the creator to die for making a mistake which anybody and them can make, everyone deserves a second chance and should not be banned from existence from making them. Again personal opinion, good video it was interesting and really funny, u r one of the best power scallers that i follow, who pay and review details to make an statement .

The original run of dragon Ball was 13 years though - so it's like Roshi was still stronger in the cell saga. But dragon ball has way more and larger time skips than super.
