Played some 2-5 at the Hard Rock in Tampa tonight. I brought your vlog up during the game and to my surprise, 3 out of the 9 have seen your vids. Considering 4 of the guys there were like 70 years old... had no idea what a vlog even was. You're Hard Rock Tampa famous. Congrats.

Hey Andrew, started watching your vlog about 3 weeks ago, not because I'm a poker player or because I aspire to be one but I enjoy the game and when the opportunity knocks I like to jump in a game and played for years online and have been turned off of it now. I own a online marketing company, mostly drop shipping products as well as affiliate marketing. I wanted to compliment you on your latest vlog entry and specifically your time you spent speaking about variance. Your insight is spot on and applicable with pretty much anyone with a dream and a desire to achieve more. You absolutely nailed the look for the silver lining in every experience part. I've been serial watching your vlogs for a few weeks and I made my first final table today finishing 8th place in a 1291 person field for a whopping $173.48...plus $108.18 in bounties. I was the second smallest stack going into the final table. Ripped it in with pocket 7's and lost a flip to Ax 🤷‍♂️ Then I lost my tournament winnings playing a $1-2 bomb pot table. Made the right calls and got rivered. Such is life. Honestly I don't care about losing the money because I just started playing again and my game is improving every week.. Thank you for sharing all of your adventures, life lessons, and all the very helpful hand breakdowns.

I can't even tell you how much I needed to see this video. Always have enjoyed your feed, but this one especially. I've been on the worst downswing I've ever experienced for the last month or so after playing nearly every day, both live and online, for a solid decade. I'm getting drawn out on like crazy, not hitting any draws myself, and get it in good to always wind up getting beaten. It's made me seriously question my poker future. Another great vlog. I've just began to notice how incredibly well spoken you are. You never ramble on and barely ever say "uh" or "umm". I play recreationally at the Bike every other weekend or so and wanted to get your input on a hand if possible. If anyone else wants to chime in that would be great too... 2/3 NL - Seat 9 (about 250ish behind) Q9o in the BB (limps around, might have called a straddle) - 5 players FLOP: Q5J two clubs - Checks around Turn - Q5J6 Loose player in Seat 6 - Bets 15 Seat 7 - Calls 15 (Seemed like steady player, was sitting at the table for 10 hours) I raise to 60 Folds around to Seat 6 - Folds Seat 7 - thinks for a minute and Calls River - Q5J64 (no flush) I Check , Seat 7 - Bets 100 I think for a while. Seat 7 who I've been talking to previously comments, "if you call, you win". I told him jokingly/sarcastically - "that would be pretty shitty to say if you have it" - he laughed. I end up calling - he shows 23c for the straight. I didn't see the broken flush/back door straight combo there. Wondering what you think about my call. All the best to you brotha!

I always keep a can of Fix-a-Flat in addition to a spare tire in my trunk. My brother had 2 flat tires at the same time and got to where he needed to go like this once! BOOM! and I have done it ever since and it saved my bootay.

Talking about the editing that's already happening is actually pretty entertaining. Congrats on the 3.5k win! I used to live in Chula Vista and went to the poker houses all the time. I don't think that casino was built yet, but they did have a good poker room called Village Club that I frequented... good free food. Their two big tables back then were 8/16 limit and 5/10 limit kill pot... they only had a 1/2 no limit regularly...

I can't recall that being there when I was stationed in San Diego on 32nd Street. Whenever I wasn't deployed, I was playing in Chula Vista at the Village Club. It's on Broadway, maybe closer to National City. Great room to play in!
