Play this first as a prologue to the movie, which adds some context on the production of the film, the experience of making the movie, and some of the critical and audience reception it received! Hope you enjoy, I made this last year as a prologue for my own screening of King Kong with some friends and family!

Great video, thank you! ***** Well... I like 2005 King Kong! Of course. However, it uses too much CGI, I think. I mean it was new and exciting in 2005 but not today, in 2024. Still, it's a good remake of 1933 film. And it has dinosaurs again! That was a big plus! ***** Now, I love-love-love 1976 King Kong!!! For me, it's the best! First reason: nostalgia! I saw it first time in 1988 and it was AWESOME!!! It still is! Old school special effects lives forever! Some scenes look incredibly good, even today. And wow: Jessica Lange! She was a goddess in 1976! That film has historical/nostalgic value, much bigger than 2005 version...
