quick question - how do these miners start in the morning? is there some software on them telling them to start when energy is sufficient and what happens when the energy randomly goes very low do they mine with sub optimal power?

I have 5 solar panels in my back yard hooked up to a power bank which then runs a 5 card mining rig. It's backed up by the grid after all the solar power is used

5:50 The KS0 Pro's run at 19v, your HP psu puts out 12v. The lower voltage means you need to push more amps to make equal the same wattage, which is what kills your machine. 100w @ 19v = 5.26 amps, 100w @ 12v = 8.33 amps. Laptop power bricks with 19v output is best. Don't do the conversion, bad plan especially for anyone who's over clocking.

Can you use your next vid to quickly popularise the idea of switiching KAS nodes to rusty kaspad? The transition is going a bit slow, maybe the casual home miners are not keeping up with the news.

I would just uograde the inverter. Having 2 there leaves you to another point of failure. #solar

i have 3 that is better then 1 point of failure i have no problems waiting a couple of weeks to solve any problems if you only have 1 you are f*cked it often also gives you more MPPT trackers, i have east west and south panels... having lots of zones can be more expensive in 1 inverter more then one inverter can also give the option of leaving a plug free because you have more then a couple MPPT trackers so if one inverter goes down you just move the panels to a inverter that works some of the off grid inverters can be connected up to 16 inverters..(up to 96kw) that gives the option of expanding piece by piece growatt only does something like 6 inverters connected

A device using 1000w, running on 120v, or 230v, or even 3phase 400v, it just doesnt matter, it keeps being 1000W. The only efficiency you get is the efficiency in the power conversion, and losses in cables.

Hey bro check out what Solareum is doing....you can literally mine using any renewable energy source when you GENERATE green energy. Patent-pending in NA and already registered and trademarked in the UK. Mining hasn't started yet, it will in 2 months so do check it out.
