I knew that this would be easy to do if I could just find someone to plainly explain it. The broken English translation of electrical nomenclature is painful to try and figure out. Thanks, a lot of fourms wont acknowledge these cheap vfds so you cant get help. But they are cheap and out of 6 only one was bad. I have been using them daily in a commercial wood shop with no trouble.

Do you have a very limited functional sweep of the pot? I have this VFD and when I connect the potentiometer, the frequency goes from zero to max with about 10% rotation of the pot. I checked the pot and it's a 10K. It appears that only 0 - 1.5K is the usable range. I'm thinking of replacing the 10K pot with a 1.5K. Just wondering if you're seeing anything like this.
