sidenote on backing up and restoring with newer Hekate firmware, the 'restore' folder contains an 'emummc' folder. move all the files into this restore/emummc/ folder or else it will not find the files to backup

I have Mariko switch with sx core..I stuck on lineage boot with # mark. Tried on 2 SD cards , same issue .what can be a problem? Need upgrade firmware on chip ?

I FINALLY SOLVEDD :]] tysm so much i've encountered into a massive problem. Whenever i flash android, it won't boot cause the coreboot file is missing in switchroot/android. I've seen if the problem was the bad extraction, but it was perfectly fine. Then i saw if the file was downloaded badly, and it wasn't the problem cause in multiple devices it gets downloaded without the coreboot file. I also tried to flash android 10 to update it to android 11, but it gets stuck on lineage boot at the moment i flash android11. I'm also using the legacy option too. Can you help me somehow?

6:13 after dis loading screen, I'm getting black screen, and then it's just loads kefir boot screen (Well, where I can choose either press "-" and get into hekate, or press nothing, and auto boot in cfw. So the same result, as if I could just turn on da console). Ik, u probably gonna say sx core (My chip) isn't compatible with android, but fск, all my apps in emunand dissapeared after doing dis >;(

of course, if u repartition the sdcard, all of ur apps and games will be gone.. unless you made a backup before u alter the sdcard

@@sthetixofficial Yea, I did the backup of sd, so emunand and even theme is here, but app icons and even username with console nickname reseted. It still have the same space taken in sd tho'. Is it becuz I didn't backup RAW GPP? But my grand problem was black screen and just rebooting after the first screen when booting LineageOS 18.1, as I wrote at first

if you want to do it from the beginning, you dont have to re extract my pack twice.

because it is chipped.. and chipped consoles doesn't work with tegrarcmgui or dongle.. fyi modchip is required for all patched consoles

i wanna ask. Mine shows all green bar in the "inspect the console" section of your video. So in the "repartition sd card" section, i should not touch the emmummc(raw) slider right? keep it 0 GB?

If I have a second sd card that I wasn’t using for games and just wanted to use purely for android, do I need to dedicate partition space for EmuMMC/HOS? Or can I put all storage on android partition? (I know this can put strain on the sd reader and am aware I may need to repair it)

I did this on my OLED and it crashed so I had to take it apart and unplug the battery and plug it back in still a few bugs

If you hold the power button down for 20 seconds it will shut off. Just a FYI for next time if it happens again. I had a similar issue elsewhere and was worried I couldn’t restart the console and saw this online and it worked perfectly

Why are you doing 12 GB for eMMC re-partition size when 29 GB is the typical standard?

even NH doesnt know it. FYI, the switch nand (the fixed partitions) is only 2.5GB, but we can expand or contract the User partition that is why, 4Gb emummc is also enough.

Great work, though wanted to notify of a correction I needed to take from your process. In the section of "copying the data back to the SD card", I had to restore to filepath: backup/9b27d518/restore/emummc/ as it was looking for that path.

Came from sxos chipped Sysnand cfw. when i try to launch Android stuck on LineageOS logo screen. the logo seems to be glitched out. anyone run into this? 1.Repartitioned SD with emunand & Android 2.Copied data back over and copied switchroot android files from zip to root of SD 3. Created Emunand on partition 4. Dumped joycons 5.flashed android

I also own sx core, but when I'm launching LineageOS, it shows me logo screen, then, after it loads, shows black screen, and then kefir boot screen (Well where I can choose to enter either hekate by pressing volume -/+, or do nothing, so it loads in cfw, nvm). So yea, switch is just rebooting after that turquoise Lineage boot screen T_T

Is there any risk to Nand? I already have a 128 gb card for emummc cfw. I have another 32 gb for android. Do I need to do the emummc parts in the video or can I install the android part directly? Lastly, let me ask again, let's say the 32 gb is bricked, when I insert my old 128 gb emummc card again, can I continue with my console as if nothing happened?

if you already have the partition, you just need to flash it using Hekate. What nand partition do you mean?

Hi love love this channel, my question is I followed your guide of from scratch and in that tutorial the option wasnt for sd emmmc backup, so I backed up using that method. So do I need to create an emmc back on sd card or I can follow that method? Because there is no emmc folder where the restore folder is.

I wish someone would make a video on how to get this working on the TV better. I can never get this to dock to the TV correctly with Android 10 or 11. It either defaults to 4K every time and bogs down performance, or crops 3/4 of the screen and zooms into the other 1/4.

Fix RAW is for those who have the emuMMC inside a hidden partition. IF you dont have it, you can skip it.

You can and the process is more or less the same (the minor change is hekate moves the emummc backup folder) - you dont have to backup the console after you turn it off.

did you delete the sd card content? you can re add android by extracting the switchroot android zip file (the atmosphere folder without the lineage ROM)

You can reformat the sd card and start from scratch. But you better make a backup of your SD card and emuMMC (if exist) before doing that.

I have already setup the console to run emmunad and set aside a sixteen gig partition for android. What steps do I need to do to run android? Will it wipe out all of my current progress?

At 6:18 it takes me to the blue screen, but then it just restarts the system and back to hekate. Is this because i have the config changed to auto boot?

the nand backup should be inside the restore folder, not inside the backup folder.

I know they try to make good tutorials and I'm sure they think they are covering every step and don't know how someone couldn't pick up what there throw down but this is the fourth dam tutorial that I have wasted my time on I'm still stuck on what to download to my SD card lol idk maybe it just me and I'm too stupid to understand. Maybe someday someone out there will make a tutorial that covers everything and is easy to follow but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Do your Joycons work wirelessly with your switch on android? Mine only work when mounted to the switch but don't work wirelessly. What did i do wrong? I dumped the controller file in the hekate settings.

This worked great for a few times booting into Android but now sometimes it will boot up Android and sometimes it just freezes and does nothing at the blueish screen with the large hashtag symbol in the lower right. More often then not it just freezes. I haven't changed any settings or added any plugins. 4 out of 5 times it will freeze. SD card has no issues. How do I prevent it from freezing up? It's a real pain when it does freeze up as the only way to get out of it is to completely power down the Switch and then I have to go find my jig, get into RCM mode, reload the payload, etc.

Andoid thing is buggy on the switch. I dont recommend using it.

@@sthetixofficial Thank you for your honest opinion. I allocated about 32 GB for the Android partition. Wish there was a way to get it back without having to redo everything.

you need to try it. not all hw fly works with android without altering it first.
