It’s for when feeding if you bend the back to much you can put the rope through the nail on back to hold it back up

And when you move the gilts or sow to the hut put a bale or two of old hay or baled wheat or oat straw in their loose sow momma can arrange her nest

With hogs gestation period is the rule of 3 3months 3 weeks and 3 days so ifyou know the day of conception you can say its roughly 103 days till farrowing

I'm not to sure about that thing on the back of the hut maybe it has something to do with the adjustable vents all port a huts come with

What year is your JD tractor & what engine? Have u seen mine(my dad's)? It's a 77' w/ the 3 cyL Yanmar.

JD 2350 they only made them for three years from what I can tell- 1983-1986! I love it, it’s the best tractor I’ve ever had. I would like to see your dad’s tractor!
