I didn't have these things written down so I made this video for myself and for anyone who might find it useful.
Before you start using your new camera, watch this video to learn the first essential settings you should change for optimal performance. Whether you're a pro or a beginner, these tweaks will help improve your photography. The video covers turning off camera sounds, disabling the autofocus assist light, turning off auto playback review, enabling RAW plus JPEG mode, and disabling auto ISO. so if I disable the auto ISO do I need to set it each time I take a shot now. And how do I know what ISO to set it at? Is there a good sweet spot so to speak to pick? Thanks steeve

@@Spicygrey great question! My advice is to always use the lowest ISO when in broad daylight. During cloudy days I hover around 100-400. For low light conditions I go to 800-1600. I don’t like to leave the thinking to the camera because it will most likely choose the higher ISO in order to give a better exposure. Which often ends up with a noisy image
