The crabs are very sensitive to water quality. Therefore, to ensure the health of the crab always cycle your tank before adding them to it. A tight-fitting lid with no escape holes is also very important. Even though these crabs spend the entirety of their life in the water, they love finding ways to escape! So prevent this by securing any and all escape routes.

I saw this video for the first time months ago. It spontanously appeared on my feed and reminded me on my long time child dream of having crabs. Now I’m slowly working on building my own palundarium. I love your aesthetic - natural, not too ‚jungley’ or tropical feeling, perfect balance in plants and hardscape, perfect size. Cant wait to house some crabs in my own paludarium.

I like this scape design a lot. I was thinking of a new scape to rescape my 25g all day and this gave me a great idea with mine. It works better than the other ones I had in mind since I only have 3 pieces of drift wood so I can work with that for this design and using coral rocks. THanks for the inspiration and cool video!

I love crabs, I've always thought they were super cool and fun to watch. Unfortunately I live in an apartment atm, I don't really have the space for a nice paludarium set-up... But one day I will!! You should consider getting vampire crabs maybe 😊 I'm obsessed with them. Admittedly I have a weakness for colorful animals.

Gorgeous setup and great production quality on the vid! I've only really been successful in keeping medium-large aquariums so far. I've had a couple micro setups but I've found that if one thing dies, it quickly poisons the water for everything else. Do you have any tips for sustaining a small setup like this long term?

That water pump cable is a great way for those crabs to escape. As long as you have something coming out of the tank, those crabs are able to climb it. Speaking from experience.
