Suddenly, the population of my vampire crabs has doubled. To provide them with a better living environment, I urgently need to establish new ecotanks. Simultaneously, I will comprehensively update the existing habitats to ensure they have the most suitable living conditions. Beautiful tank as always! ☺But I have to give you a couple of friendly pointers. 1. You need to get some soil in there! That's their primary home! I recently put up a video about the importance of soil so they can burrow😊 2. You should be keeping the species (colour variations) separte to prevent fighting amongst them. 9 times out of 10 they will just kill eachother. It doesn't always happen straight away but it will eventually happen. TIP: When you spot their molts in the water leave them in because they eat them for calcium and other minerals 😉 It won't harm your water quality.😊 It is possible for some colour variations to interbreed but 99% of the time it results in death before a successful breeding scenario.

If I came to Taiwan, I’d like to see your “zoo” also.... and your spouse is beautiful...! We only see her hands once in awhile, so it was nice to see her...(assuming it was her next to the big fiberglass tree frog)... Your builds are so gorgeous...but I’m interested in maintaining them so pretty... how easy and how often is it to clean the filter media or screen or impeller..? How long will a build last..? Typically, filter media and screens may need cleaning every few weeks, while impellers can be part of monthly or bi-monthly maintenance.

I kept some Vampire crabs and they loved to hide underground so they used to dig holes everywhere in my set up. I used lots of natural soil to provide them more natural habitat, and the crabs loved the environment and thrived for more than 1 year, reproducted as well, but eventually my water pump ended up stuck with the organic nutrients and sludge which would had come out of the soil. In this video, I was surprised that almost no soil has been applied. Vampire crabs are happy with that? I'd like to kindly ask your opinion / experiences. Thanks for the calming and informative video!

Nice! I love the depth n fine details! But it has to stand the test of time. I have tried with drift wood before but after some time (about 6mths) they get mouldy n start disintegreating not forgeting they make the water brown too. I prefer using rocks instead.. 😊

Providing enough soil beneath the plants for them to dig allows them to exhibit their natural burrowing behavior while also offering sufficient hiding space.

Ya he tenido la suerte de ver vídeos anteriores donde desfilan estos bellos ejemplares llamados Cangrejos Vampiros y francamente como desearía poder tener aunque sea un par de estos bellos ejemplares, lo que más me gusto fue el tanque para el terrario el cual aquí en mi ciudad ya hay uno a la venta que se parece bastante al que sale en este vídeo y pretendo (no ahorita) armar uno de estos proyectos, que son una derivación de los acuarios.
