WHAT A GREAT PERSON HE WAS. I PLAYED FIRESTONE IN AKRON FOR 35 YRS AND SAW HIM EVERYTIME HE PLAYED THEIR. HE HIT SHOTS THAT LEFT OTHER PLAYERS SCRATCHING THEIR HEADS. HE SAID IN SPAIN HE USED TO PUT HIMSELF IN THE MOST HORRIBLE SITUATIONS SO THAT HE COULD LEARN HOW TO RECOVER FROM THEM. WHAT A GUY....HE DIED FROM A HORRIBLE DISEASE HE DIDNT DESERVE THAT. RIP ILL SEE YOU AGAIN....

bragee that stroke is something else. That clip of that shot is permanently ingrained into my memory. To be able to swing a club with that much power, force and speed, and still be able to hit the ball exactly as planned while under pressure is incredible. It almost seems like a caricature of what an effective shot should look like.

Tiger does that same club manipulation, and he followed, admired, watched video of Seve as a kid. Your comment is old but when I read it, I knew you meant that footage, I like it too👍

I thought young Tom Morris theme the record as youngest champ?

Tom Morris is partly discounted due to when he won. But there was usually a distinction made by referring to Seve as youngest winner ‘this’ century or whatever.
