Just went and did a little homework. This house was bought in 2011 for the mid 900's during the Vegas housing downturn. So anyone who wants to buy this should know that. They offered half the asking price and got the house. Now they want to double their money, no problem with that, but there's also at least 7 other houses for sale on the same street. Happy shopping everyone! 😊

Sorry but I am not impressed with this one at all. Small rooms, wasted spaces and old fixtures. It just doesn't justify the price for all the reno you will have to do.

Beautiful home. I love the dramatic entry & the marble floors. That carpet has to go tho. & The bedrooms are rather small but it's all in wat the homeowners may need. Plus the garage needs to be put back in cause that dog kennel was a horrid idea. Nice viewing Chaktis👍🏽

Beautiful property but for a home of that scale, I can’t understand why the formal dining room is so small and tucked away in a corner like that!

Overall I like the place... wasn't too keen on the light fixture in the dining room... I don't particularly like those high up windows, if only because the are a pain to keep clean (need to invent self cleaning windows!)... but the light is good. That laundry room off the pantry was weird, given there are two other laundry areas in the house. I also don't like all those doors off the downstairs bedrooms... as they are a security risk. I did like the kitchen and the dining room in general. I liked the master bathroom and closet (big!). I like the loft and theater room upstairs. Good showing Chakits!

I like everything in this house, except carpets...all the rest is amazing... especially bathrooms and that huge master closet ...and of course backyard!

Now this home right here is a dream home. I love love love it from the entry way to the pool its beautiful i love that it have a double island in the kitchen. Okay can we talk about that dramatic drive way? I love that you can pull your car up infront of the house and the spaces to park on the curb. It give me a hotel entry kind of vibes. BEAUTIFUL.!!

I think it has much in common with the super large mansions - like all the stone marble high cellings - just down sized and lay out feels like millions - watching the fire place lit large pool and so on -- for that price i think its fare - not over board and within some peoples range for buying -- lovely home --

Pros: #1 Nice Circular Driveway(entry to the house looks like a Hotel) #2 Nice Double Front and Back doors(easy for furniture/appliance removal/installs) #3 Huge Hotel Luxury Style Bathroom(i believe there's just 1 here) #4 Tall Ceiling #5 Love the 6 A/C units, it means if a few is broken you still have some left to use #6 Love the AMPLE SPACE by the A/C area, some of your showings have A/C areas so constricted there's no space to walk by Cons: #1 Small Rooms(Personally, i rather have less small rooms and combine 'em into BIGGER Rooms). #2 Kitchen area very small and the center island made it look even smaller and congested #3 Hate the Drop Down living room area #4 Hate how the Pool areas are Elevated....Personally, i rather have lower profile pool and patio area cuz i rather not have nosy neighbor watching who's here #5 Hate how the Pool extended all the way to the House, if u want to walk around to the A/C side you'll have to walk up/down the Pool to get to the other Side #6 Very Dark house, needs more Lighting #7 The FRONT DOUBLE DOOR needs a makeover, need a Modern Sophisticated style since it's over $1M. Wonderful porte cochere, nice Corinthian columns (acanthus inspired), wonderful Hollywood Regency doors, nice pillow lighting in the garage, luxurious sunken living room with fireplace with first floor master with french doors, a great experienced property.

I really liked the home I thought it was actually refreshing to see an older home amongst all the new modern feel homes you show. I’m not too familiar with the comps and how this home stacks up because you have shown homes for 800-1M that look amazing with features this house doesn’t have..However, I must say that outside area and the theater and bar area for a huge plus for me. Talk to me about that sink though..?? The sunken living area was beautiful too. The Reno work work would seriously have to be part of the negotiating offer.. Good job with the video though love them! I don't normally like this kind of architecture, but I thought this was excepionally well done. All the finishes seemed to work well together. People can nit pick about the garage turned into a dog kennel, and the frayed carpet, but remember, the place is 15 years old, and while the floor plan might not suit everyone b/c of bedroom size and the like, I think all the finishes are in impeccable condition and look extremely expensive and well thought out. Color scheme is also good for a traditional home, as well. This is a traditional design with a lot of wood finishes that for once does not look like a funeral home.

Even if I could afford this I don't think I would want a home this huge. I wouldn't knw what to do with all that space lol

Chakits, tip: have a measuring tape on your hip, clipped to your belt. Or just kept in your car. That way you can demonstrate and prove what the exact ceiling height is for a potential buyer/ audience.

I believe the stone in the shower is “tumbled marble”. It was a popular design trend in the 2000’s. It is now dated. By the way, the ceilings with the crisscrossed beams are the “tray” ceilings.(think of an ice cube tray). The ceilings that have a soffit around the perimeter is just that- I don’t know that there’s any name for it. If the perimeter soffit is angled inward towards the ceiling, that is a coffered ceiling.

This house layout makes no sense. That architect needs to turn over his/her license.

I know that home AND lot prices are measured by the square foot these days but what's missing these days is, the 'wow' factor. And I'm not talking the interiors, a lot of today's homes have that in spades, I'm talking about the property, the LAND if you will. You know, the 2 or more acre lot that shows the home off to it's fullest, the anticipation of driving past the gates or down the leafy driveway and have the home's magnificence come into view, not competing with the neighbor's home of equal if not more elegance. IDK, I guess you have to be a billionaire these days to afford something like that. But for those 'less fortunate', relatively speaking of course, that element of surprise 'wow' factor is gone forever

Interesting that I'm so used to seeing TV's everywhere in most homes that not seeing a single flat screen in this one stands out like a sore thumb. Not necessarily a bad thing though, it was built in 2005.

Beautiful home, I like the master closet with washer. I'm beyond pissed about that garage, that's why they moved. They created a half done mess. The rooms are tight and small closets upstairs. Not worth a million but it's definitely a nice livable place. I loved the entrance and kitchen.

Ever wonder why these homes in Vegas are so cheap compared to other places in the United States that's because it's hell to live there. I know, I had to live there for 5 years, but anybody in his right mind wouldn't stay more than a weekend. PS: Unless of course if you are Céline Dion, and make 20 million a year.

There's a lot to love about this home. I'd be interested in buying the floorplan and doing a build in a better neighborhood with no HOA. The variety of flooring was disappointing. There's was not enough outdoor social space. Where was the outdoor kitchen? Million dollar homes require outdoor kitchens IMO. The RV garage conversion is what will help keep this house from selling. The curb appeal and entry way and staircase will make people think twice and make a serious low ball offer. Is like to see more homes designed to this taste because it seems all are being built with modern designs now.

$1.8MIL ??? LOL! btw, why 7 bathrooms? That makes zero sense. Plus no security. Anyone can walk right up to the front door. And with crime rates in Vegas escalating with home break ins, that house and every house like it are definitely targets because it's all easy access to get into it. I can almost buy a mini estate in Palm Springs for $1.8M , (well only a few left) and have a complete walled and secure property. Too many people trying to make huge profits off these housing crash foreclosures. Most are not worth the asking prices.

Personally I feel any residence at that price should be setback and away from most homes. Not four steps to the pavement. It is crammed right up with a handful of other cookie cutter style homes. Moreover, when a realtor lists an unrealistic price (lets be honest, everyone in the comment section agrees) that it shows the realtor is desperate for a sale and reflects more on them than the actual home-owner. They focused mainly on the living room and master and didn’t plan anything else like that for the rest of the bedrooms and living space, they just added marbles and high-end products to make it seem nice. But the living room is beautiful

The extra bedrooms are so tiny, with tiny closets. But, if your paying $11,000+ a month in taxes, you don't need big closets, your not going to buy extra clothes for those bedroom occupants lol Tiny dining room space too, chairs so tight against the wall, no room for guests to easily sit.. only thing I loved about this house was the 3 laundry rooms!

And the question of wanting to put walls and gates to privacy (which is essential for me), to be forbidden, discourages me! This house is too beautiful and the price is more important than many beautiful mansions in Rio de Janeiro! But in Rio there are sea and beaches to all sides. What is the guarantee of security?
