Can't express how happy I am about this movie being made, The Last Kingdom has been a great story

One of the best TV series of all time with one of the best finale episodes ever. So glad Netflix approved the finale epilogue being done as a 2 hour movie. Whoever took part in this show deserves so much praise. Well done 👏

Crazy how the Last kingdom had one of the best endings to a show ever, yet Game of thrones can have one of the worst and still be more known then this masterpiece

YES!!! Can't wait for this! Last week, I went back to Season 1, Episode 1 and started from the beginning to bring everything back to the top of mind and am going to watch the entire series leading up to the movie release. It's bitter sweet to see it all come to an and but I'm grateful to be able to witness this journey!

One of my favorite scenes will always be when Uhtred was brought home with his new Dane Father Ragnar. He shoved him off the horse. I knew strangely he was going to be loved and taken care of, in the home

Man I can't put into words how much I love The Last Kingdom. I'm getting ready to rewatch from the start, it's gonna be hard to say goodbye to this absolute masterpiece. The series finale completely broke me and had me bawling my eyes out, I have a feeling I should be expecting the same of the movie.

I cried for Uthred. Looking at the room full of his dead friends and back at his living ones and his neww found son. I literally bowled. This show was my escape through dark times. Thank you and goodbye.

I cried during the last scene of the season finale, such a powerful ending to a great story. Great music too.

Yessss!!! I'm so so happy and excited for this! This series literally changed my life and started my obsession with Norse mythology and viking culture. And ALOT of tattoos lol Also, opened my eyes and ears to a whole new world of music for me. I'm so sad that this will be the end but I am forever grateful to have been able to watch such a beautiful cast and epic series! DESTINY IS ALL!!

Masterpiece. The level of detail in which each character is developed it's a delight to watch. Some shot sequences put you in the battlefield. Hail Uthred! P.s would be nice to see Alex and other pals in another production!

Oh, yeah!! Looking forward to this. Had no idea it was in the works. It's going to be tough for a move to keep the same quality as the series had (due to pacing issues and so forth), but this will hopefully be a worthy addition. Can't argue against two more hours of this great show.

The Last Kingdom is one of the greatest TV shows that i have ever seen. It's been a blast watching this journey, though I am sad to see end. I'm sure it ends on a bang and true conclusion to this epic story. Uhtred, Finan and Sihtric are the best trio of characters i have seen since Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas of LOTR. Besides Uhtred, Finan has been my favorite character to watch a true loyal friend and fierce Irish Warrior. Sihtric, the most witty and respectable Viking warrior on the show. And finally Brida...the lovely warrior woman that shouldve been with Uhtred from beginning to end. All i can say is Thank you to the entire cast and crew for this excellent series and congrats on the movie i can not wait....Destiny is all!!!! P.s i hope one day the TV show i create someday will be just as good😁

Will this be in theatres for a short spell also or just on Netflix. Feel like this could be one for the big screen
