Hi folks, hope everyone's well. Having finally completed the fleet updates with the addition of the Electrostar and Networker units, I decided it was time to have a bit of fun running some trains - so here goes!
It's a short mix of things today, from both NSE and present day periods. I apologise for the awful sounds coming from the NSE Networker. I can't work out whether that's the new traction tyres rubbing, or if the motors are on the way out, but I hope to be able to sort it over Christmas. If any Networker owners can share their experience and expertise on this, I'd be grateful!
Also seen here are the two GBRF Class 73s, which are Hornby models but which I think still look cracking considering the age of the tooling. I have just added a Dapol Class 73 to the fleet and that will feature in an upcoming video.
Hope you enjoy this brief running session - I'd welcome any feedback and suggestions for future videos. I'll be concentrating more on scenic work in the new year, with works starting on the BT building to the north of the bridge to start with. I will try and get as much footage of progress as I can.
