Circles was written by Woozi for Wonwoo when his mother passed away but he also wrote it for what he wanted to say to the members and Wonwoo

Last year (2023) during Caratland, they performed "Circles" three nights/concerts in a row. Towards the end of the song, staff surprised Seventeen with pictures and videos of when they were younger, showing just how far they've come. There was no singing; just Seventeen with their backs to the audience watching everything play out along with the audience. This caused Seventeen to become very emotional, and both the 1st and 2nd nights Woozi could never finish the song because he would break down and cry. The third night, though, was different. Instead of pictures and videos, the members were further surprised by love messages from their parents/families and a live video of them telling the guys how much they loved them. That was IT for Seventeen. Wonwoo couldn't control the sobs, as his mother was missing. That had pretty much ALL of the guys crying, making it even harder for Woozi to finish the song the final night. He did his best, but again lost it. He went to the back of the stage, squatted down and just cried. Wonwoo, still crying, went to Woozi, stooped down, they embraced/hugged each other, and just cried together. It was an INCREDIBLE moment...one that had ME and every other Carat sobbing. SO precious...and just one more reason I fell in love with them all the more. Oh fun fact they got so drunk filming this, jeonghan swore he will quit drinking, he was so gone. Also after they filmed this they went somewhere with photo booths and took funny drunk photo booths photos and posted it on social media. It was the most hilarious day of all time Oh another thing, you clocked it right, seungkwan is the 'very nice' police. Its their encore song at concerts and if he finds you not jumping he will call you out over the mike or worse come down there and make you sing his high note, he is a menace to say the least😂

14:30 hoshi cried : " huuu... Jihoon (woozi's real name), wonu (wonwoo) yaaa, my friends 😭😭😭 Hoshi, woozi, wonwoo and Jun are same age friends (born in 1996/96 line) and they're some of the longest trainee , they've been friend since they're still in middle or high schools , so they're have special bond. I think the reason for why they sang Circle in Nana tour is because they never been success sang it till the end without crying

Circles was written by Woozi for Wonwoo and all the members. Kidult was written by Scoups during his hiatus, being inspired by Jeonghan. Yawn was written by Woozi for Seungkwan during his morning because of the passing of his bestfriend Moonbin. Also Seventeen’s close friend. What kind of Future was witten by Woozi and Moonbin’s favorite song. Moonbin is a member of “Astro” This shows how sincere Seventeen as a friend in general. ❤❤❤

Circles is a song WOOZI made for Seventeen. That song is what Woozi wanted to convey to his members about how he felt and how that was his way of comforting the members when they were all going through tough times. It really resonates between Wonwoo and Woozi especially.

as others have said, Circles is a special song from Woozi to everyone esp to wonu. this clip really broke me, after swearing i wouldn't be after Hit the Road. but their bond is strong. 2023 was such a great year for them, but out of sight, is their years of hard work, being put through the ringer. as it's actually mangyu's birthday today, he wasn't able to celebrate his bday for two years, due to unnecessary bullying scandal which turned out to be erroneous, and wonu's mom's passing. i'm glad he's able to celebrate his bday openly and proudly with all his loved ones, and that they're still together as a group. thank you for going through the journey and their discog with carats and others. i'm grateful and happy we're all here. Love this Tipsy live! They really had a drinking session and some were really drunk after. They also took photobooth pictures and posted it, its so cute! We literally felt roller coaster of emotions in minutes. This is like a shorter version of Going Seventeen TTT. I hope you get watch it soon.

I am sitting here crying watching this. I love Circles. The thing is, I have never fangirled or deep-dived until Seventeen and the reason I became a carat was cuz of Circles. I knew seventeen 2 years prior and hell had DWC as my ringtone since but Circles was what did for me. It was such a comfort. Only later on I found out the story behind Circles. Do check it out if you get some time, Also Circles in 2023 Caratland also brought the members and us to tears. Circles wrecked me, I listened to it often. Year 2023 is a bad year for me, my mum diagnosed with cancer stage 2 while I personally faced hard decisions at work. Then I discovered this song and found out the story behind this song. Every single time I hear it now I still cry, but it somehow healed me and gave me energy through last year.
