Wonwoo is really intelligent and clever. He likes to read books and articles a lot and the other SEVENTEEN members say he uses really big words in his daily vocabulary. He definitely is the quiet, shy bookworm in the group haha. He's just a gentle giant that on paper shouldn't be an idol at all due to his introverted personality but somehow he is? He mentioned that he's so thankful that the SEVENTEEN members helped him come out of his shell and they're always including him. He really loves the members a lot in a low-key way.

Wonwoo doesn't say much but he is really eloquent whenever he speaks. He is very straight forward and honest. Jeonghan speaks more in Korean interviews, especially with certain interviewers. He is really clever and mischievous. You are so much spot on with lots of their characters.

It is so insane how the mere way one communicates can tell you so much about a person. Wonwoo is known to be one of the smarter SEVENTEEN members, he is the biggest reader in the group, and 90% of the time he's sat back observing along with Vernon and The8!

Wonwoo has said he never felt he fit in anywhere until he became a part of Seventeen and that the other members always made him feel included and helped him to stand out and shine during times he felt he wasn't that good at doing something. He really genuinely loves them because they have helped him to be more comfortable with who he is.

Ive been following Seventeen for 6 years now and it really surprises me that you actually got their personality right. Joshua taking the lead is bc its a English interview. Also Jeonghan sometimes just listens instead of speaking but when he gets comfortable with the environment he brings so much chaos. He is also known as Seventeen's Loki bc of that lol.

jeonghan doesn’t talk much in interviews but he is known for being very mischievous specially in their variety show Going Seventeen. my favorite episode is “One Million Won”, they all have separate interviews, each member with Jeonghan. and the idea of that episode is that all 12 members had to team up to beat him in a game, while jeonghan had to convince them to join him 😂

Thank you for giving wonwoo the spotlight! Not everyone can see and appreciate his qualities since he's not very expressive (unless it's content like TTT, which I recommend) but you were able to spot all of those things that make wonwoo so special. I feel like he's often almost invisible to non-carats since he's usually observing his surroundings and listening to the guys so the fact that you paid him so much attention makes me happy❤️

Wonwoo is definitely an interesting one, he always send long and sentimental notes to carats. Jeonghan is definitely out of his comfort zone here, he is known as the caretaker of seventeen and always caves to his members. However he is very much the trickster in games, you can check out Seventeen on DINGO’s Dance Mafia. Dino also typically hangs behind until pulled forward, but when they are playing, you can see his humor shine as well, in the Dingo Mafia too!

Jeonghan is interesting. He's very good at manipulating, tricking, cheating people bc he's so smart which is making him sound bad but he literally so lovely, he's actually an angel 🤣🤣 and hey it makes things fun!

Wonwoo is introverted in general but both interviews you watched first happened to be filmed right after he had to deal with a personal loss, so he was extra reserved but now he’s slowly coming back to us. If you watch their older content I think you’ll see a lot more of his personality! And of course going seventeen but everyone’s told you about that XD

Jeonghan is the prankster , cunning as well as loving & caring. You haven't got the chance to read Jeonghan's brighter chaotic personality yet ...but once you get to see him you will love the chaotic energy he brings with him that naturally flows. Also Joshua is Jeonghan's bestfriend. You know birds of same feather flock together. Them together is complete chaos certain times 🤣🤣🤣

Ahhhh part 2 is out! Nice one pinpointing Dino as the youngest! Not only in international age, but even in Korean age he is the youngest because he is the only one born in 1999. I'd love to see you react to their korean interviews that are self-run. It's fun to see some of the members take on the mc/interviewer role and see how the rest of them react to that. 9:27 Be careful sir, it looks like you are about to become another victim of Wonwoo. Take it from me...its a deep hole that you never manage to escape from. That said, I am surprised at how well you are picking up his traits...it usually takes people a while to notice him and then to get to know him since he is on the quieter side.

They're very aware and considerate of each other because they've learned how to navigate and find their place in a 13 member group, they have to make sure everyone has the space to talk if they want to, but they also know each other well enough not to put somebody under the spotlight when they don't want to. It's so fascinating to hear your thoughts about them, there's a lot of things that I unconsciously picked up on that you perfectly put into words. Also, Dino is actually hilarious he's the funniest to me!

Going Seventeen is FOR SURE the best way to get to know the members, especially their TTTs is where they usually go out on a day vacation almost the most bare personality shown, TTTs are their most closest thing to a reality show

Wonwoo as CEO :)) Totally agree. He is a smart guy. He wants to learn Finances and reads tons of books. He is a genius in SVT and also Vernon. Wonwoo is quiet when all 11 members (excluding Vernon) talk at the same time, he does not like wasting his energy but when he speaks, everyone believes in what he says. This is why he is my bias. And he has extremely deep voice and raps well. hahhah

I do agree with the eye contact thing with Joshua he does that a lot bc he is confident, and I love that, he also does it when he sings, as for Jeonghan he is always somewhat quiet during interviews bc he simply does not like them lol, especially in English since he isn't the most confident like other members with the language during Korean interviews he is still in the calm side, BUT put him in a game or variety show and is a cheating mess, he is very smart I think that all of Seventeen are witty in a sense during variety shows, with old stuff (pre-pandemic) they were a little awkward but still good at variety shows but while recording Going Seventeen during the pandemic the became more witty and agile with shows, I have always think they're funny but GoSe really helped them

Jeonghan tends be quiet with international/english interviews because he’s not comfortable with the language. He can get pretty talkative and contribute more in korean interviews

You should react to "hanging out with seventeen" video on FO Squad Kpop's channel. I watch their channel daily and this in this interview you can tell the members feel really comfortable, even though it's an english one, throughout it.

Oh wow such an interesting video. I would like to recommend their indian interview with sakshma. Its one of the best interviews I've seen. Jeonghan used to be quiet in their english interviews pre pandemic but in recent interviews he interacts more.

5:38 “He’s got such a trustworthiness about him.” He has shown multiple times on camera that he likes fairness and justice. He is the least likely to betray another member in their variety shows/games. He also has very clear stand on things and will more likely stick to his principles even when other members are in chaos in their games. 😊

If you want to watch their variety show content (going seventeen), I feel like you would enjoy their Logic Night Debates. The premise is to win a debate in the least logical way possible, so it’s all about communication. It certainly is chaotic, but full of such good content to analyze

The thing about DK is that he can be really innocent. To the point where other members are worried he will be deceived by malicious people. He can be too trustful and accepting.

If you really want to see Wonwoo's personality come out, watch "Going svt: Christmas in august 1". Not only Wonwoo but all of the members. It's sucha chaotic, fun episode. They face many challenges in it. Tho the challenges are not that big of a deal and are just added to make the show more fun, it's nice to see everyone's take and opinion how to handle it

I need to leave another comment here since I am surprised by how all of your analyses, even the details, are really spot on 👏👏👏. The way you perceive DK as a smiley man but vulnerable can't be more exact. He's probably the happy vitamin, surfing Instagram and always be the first to send a heart to other members' posts, always be present on Weverse to comfort and encourage the fandom with some saying like "Everyone did a good job today too. Keep healthy, keep being happy!". But he's also the most prone to cry when thinking about how he's disqualified and failed at singing some times, and he shed tears several times at their concerts. And also how you said you felt some kinds of connection between DK and Josh. They do manifest the same vibes, being gentle, soft, attentive and carefree, and mischievous at some point. They usually share room when on tours. And they rarely have ugly scenes with each other. I can clearly see them sitting side by side, gentlely confiding in each other, the other just smiling and silently listening to all of that without any loud noises, any protest. All of them are brothers but you can easily encounter SeokSoo's videos (Seok Min - DK and Ji Soo - Josh's real names) here and there cause they stick to each other all the time. I watch their videos, watch their lives literally on a daily basis. And that you manage to figure things out by a quick glance deserves praises actually 💐💐.

They're long, but it'd be so cool to see you react to the two Going Seventeen 2019 MBTI episodes. They did more recently do MBTI tests for each other instead of themselves, and a test called a TCI test, but the 2019 episodes include them doing their own and most of all getting a hidden camera prank, I would especially love to hear your takes on how they all react to that!

To get a better look at their characters I think seeing SVT: Hit the Road and Going Seventeen would be a better reference. actually there are still several other shows/programs, but I think those are the 2 that I recommend the most for normal viewers who just want to get to know their characters and personalities. They also did mbti and TCI tests in the latest Going Seventeen episode.

Do try and check out Hit The Road, it's their documentary series taking place during their Ode to You tour and they give a great insight into their characters

yeah! for jeonghan you’ll notice that for english interviews he’ll rarely talk, if at all. and for korean ones he’ll talk a bit more, especially if it’s engaging :) (but obviously, he’ll be closer to his truer self on go:se episodes)

Dino is 'the manke' meaning the youngest of the group. In Korea they have a age system and honorifics for people who are older. So when the other guys ask Dino to do something or get something, he does it. But also in groups the youngest is really adored by the other guys en is cute for almost everything. They love, care and protect the youngest meaning Dino so much. Sorry if it doesn't make sense. I'm from the Netherlands so explaining it is hard.

Being a Kpop idol can wreck some people's confidence and isn't always a positive experience. Carats (Seventeen's fans) know that this wasn't at all the case for Joshua. He came to Korea from America and thanks to his wonderful members found his niche and his place. You can literally see Joshua's confidence grow with every year and he is beloved by Carats, his members, and even other idols. I think it's a combo of 1)Kpop made him feel attractive and talented, he always wanted to do music professionally but i don't think ever thought it was seriously a possibility for him before we was noticed in LA's Korean festival by Seventeen's company and asked to audition. He sang and played guitar at his church but he wasn't even performing at the festival, he was just attending it and they noticed him for his looks, which i think he was like "wait...I'm good looking? What?" 🤣 He was shy church boy and always was very polite and respectful and I think he is learning to blend new things into his personality but people like that he still keeps some of his gentle and polite personality to blend with his new confidence and high profile life. He himself has given it a name, he calls it "gentle sexy" lol 2) he had great people around him, especially the members. He and Jeonghan joined at the same time and supported each other. He and Jun (who is from China) worked on their Korean language skills and learning Korean cultural norms together. All the other members became his biggest cheerleaders. The transformation is really fun to watch.

What is interesting and showing is that both DK and Dino like/need to feel loved by the others. I think that's why they are both so "game" and attention seekers sometimes. It's not negative, I see it as their way to be more comfortable in the group and the members are very responding well to their needs. I see Wonwoo as a pillar in the group. He's always there for his members no matter what. Even if he's more "chill" in his way of being, he is a very important member to balance everyone perfectly. He's put in the MC position a lot in Going Seventeen and I think it's because he's having the full trust of the others and because he knows how to harmonise a situation. So yeah, kinda like a mediator, in a way.

When Jeonghan speaks in an English interview finally we would be scared 😂
