I honestly underestimated Jack the Ripper, him being a historical figure that has no matching combat skills like the other Assassins. But a Historical figure who WAS a talented Assassin? That was a surprise.

Nah they did a shitty job at this dlc. One, this dlc is so short u finish it in just 2 hours or a day. Two, U can’t free roam as Jack. Three, Evie aged terribly and looks like she’s 60 yrs old. Four, Can’t have Jack The Ripper outfit for Jacob in main game. Five, Evie has ugly ass hood and outfit. Last, We have to use prostitudes as units in this DLC

I found myself wishing that they had actually gone with what the writers seemed to be teasing: that Jacob was having a Fight Club-style mental breakdown and that HE was Jack the Ripper. +Fan of Fandoms Ohh, now I understand. My idea would be that Jacob didn't suffer a single terrible thing so much as he honestly has a mental illness that slowly erodes at his sanity. For example, I could see his impulsive behavior being harder to control even though he wants to be more responsible as the years go by. This might lead to him trying to wall off the impulsive urges and treat that part of himself as an enemy. Eventually, he begins to see that part of his mind as a separate entity and he can't always keep it under control.

+Saint Row To be honest, I don't know how we're able to play as him at all since, traditionally, the animus only lets us "play as" someone until they pass on their genes. Yet, here, the last time we play as Jack is very close to when he dies. I suppose there are some...unsavory possibilities...but it still seems odd.

Shay wouldn't stand a chance on Jack. Shay may be a skilled Hunter assassin but I'm not sure what he would do in front of a monster like this. Jack would easily install fear into Shay's heart that will cause him to be vulnerable. Sure shay can defeat Achilles, arno, Charles ......and all the colonial assassins.....but this is different....this is no assassin shay is dealing with a psychopath, serial killer.....shay is one of my favorites bad sadly I don't see him winning against Jack. First in for all Jack is more physically strong Shay's punches will do nothing on him he will just push shay easily and grab shay. Second the weapon he uses a deadly knife and a modern revolver is deadly your damn crazy if you think an old sword, flintlock, shotgun back in the 1700s can stop a monster like this...to be honest in reality Evie should die....I don't know how she survived and killed jack probably because it's her story so obviously we need a good ending......I'll even throw in haytham..... haytham is my most favorite Templar but will not stand a chance against this monster....you need an ezio type of assassin to kill him or Altair...Connor would be good too

+The Polymath I've never found a good answer for that question. I suppose that the most likely scenario is that someone had a small DNA sample (blood, hair) that they managed to extract some data from. That would explain why Jack's memories were so fragmented.

In Unity and Syndicate, you don't need the DNA or to be a direct descendant to experience the memories

He might have left, but he was not H H Holmes. There is enough known about HHH to rule him out. Also he had a complete different MO, which serial killers can't change.

@@Sevvina I don't know about that. Some say H.H. Holmes was Jack. But, the timeline doesn't fit, the choice of victims doesn't make sense. And, I don't know if I trust DNA evidence, from samples that are over 100 yrs old.

@@MrsJasmyn45 well the reason why is because Holmes kept old pictures of Jack the Ripper like newspaper clips in his home. And it was put together that eyewitness evidence collected he looks oddly like Holmes
