Hello Shiny Crafty People!
Today I’m making an item I really need for my house - an outdoor cover for a television.
So join me as I measure the tv and stand, draw out the plan, and then make the product in less than 20 minutes!!
If you like this tv stand, check out the link here: amzn.to/4b8AeBe
And you can always get this 420 denier nylon pack cloth here: amzn.to/3z5yzir
Until next time, stay crafty!!

Thank you for introducing me to this fabric. I am going to use it to make primitive camping "bear bags," as my son calls them. He is currently using my kayak dry bags. He hoists food high (tree branches)away from raccoons and bear in the Allegheny Forest, PA. This fabric is perfect: lightweight & protects.

I love “designing” useful things for my house as much as making clothes, gifts and bags. It takes some figuring and some visual- spatial skills, and is very rewarding.

Reminds me of a cover I made for my brother-in-law to cover a two burner outdoor table top stove. The hardest part was he wanted elastic around the bottom. That was a bear, but accomplished it. I remember I had to add fray block as the material was fraying some. The material was some type of outdoor fabric and a drab green color.

That's a cute cover for your outdoor tv. It's also good if you have a tv in a spare room that doesn't get used very often, or a holiday home that's empty for 3 or 4 months over the winter. It will help keep the dust and small bugs off of the telly or computer screens and the covers can just be plopped into the washing machine to freshen them up ready for the next time they are needed. Thanks for sharing your time with us again 💐

Fabulous deck and water view. I am on the Intercoastal Waterway. I wish I had a deck as large and awesome as yours. Thank you for the tutorial.

Tim - My mind went in a different direction. I would not have box pleated the back. I would have cut the front and back fabrics the same width and boxed the corners, accommodating all the overall depth. I would have put a casing in the bottom, rather than a hem, and run cording through with a cord lock. I know with our Ohio winds, I would find it down the road.😊

Hi, Timothy. I recently found your channel and I LOVE it! What is the name/type of material that you used in this video? I was given ends of upholstery material and want to make some bags that are waterproof on the inside. I would love any help. Thank you! Michelle
