I think they turned out okay. Remember the seam allowance at the bottom of the pumpkin when added to the next unit, it will look fine. I’m still working on the leaves so I’m way behind but hope to get caught up this weekend.

I envy your ripping skills. I cut my teeth on garment sewing, specifically formal wear, lots of chiffon and tulle and organza. There’s no way such delicate materials would survive such treatment.

Ooh ooh! I have a trick for hiccups. Iused to get them daily as a teenager, so I know what I’m talking about. I tried them all, standing on your head and drinking backwards out of a cup and everything. This one is easy. Grab a glass of water put a finger in one ear and drink. Period. It works for me like a charm every time. If that doesn’t work, try spoonful of sugar, however, that’s pretty common one so you probably already know that.

Irl no pumpkin is perfect…yours looks fine! Love how you go with the flow, I’m a bit more highly strung unfortunately. Peepoo is a good judge 😂. I know why this is a quilt a long, because you can only take so much of it at a time. At least I found that when I was sewing mine.

I like to hear you don't like to press open. Open seams can lead to a weaker block. As a longarm quilter, like stitching in the ditch and with open seams it is Sewing thread on thread.

If you have ever seen a 1200 pound pumpkin they are really ugly and don’t have a nice shape!!!!!
