Күн бұрынPipe bursting is a trenchless pipe replacement technique used for sewer, rainwater, and oil and gas pipes. The process entails pulling an HDPE pipe of equal or greater diameter into an existing pipe. As the HDPE pipe is being advanced via a winch system, a cone shaped bursting head breaks the existing pipe into pieces, removing them from the path of the new HDPE pipe. Sewer Pros offers trenchless pipe bursting for 2″ to 6″ residential, commercial and industrial lateral lines from Rancho Palos Verdes to Santa Monica California.

I'm glad they put the yard back at the end, I had some guys come out and they left my house floating 10 feet on a slab of earth. The mailman kept falling into the void, it was really embarrassing.

i had it done. I hired a licensed plumber and he hired his friends who came in van. Im not sure if his friends were licensed but at least he was. It seems like they can do like 3-5 homes a day. Took 1.5 hours (2 adults, 2 teenagers)

The sharp turn of the new HDPE being pulled in was not accurate. Does not bend that sharply without kinking.

Does this only work when the existing pipe is terracotta, or can it work on SDR 35 or 26 existing pipes too?

Yes, PVC is easier on the cutter head since it's softer than clay pipe
