In this video I'm making my dream, magical dress ~ Another Vampire's Wife inspired dress made in a shocking pink baby cord. I've been saving this fabric for over 20 years and could never think of what to do with it. And then along came that dress by The Vampire's Wife and I just knew I had to make another one! I have 3 so far and will happily make more!

If you're looking to get some good sewing equipment, these are my general recommendations. I have been using an industrial machine which was on loan, but is now re-homed and I love my Bernina Activa 140, which is hard to get hold of these days. If you can buy a re conditioned one, they're worth their weight in gold! I also use the Singer listed below. It's a very simple entry level machine but it stitches really well on most fabrics that I've tried and I enjoy using it.
