Sewn Snuffle Matt DIY - In Depth Tutorial

This is an in depth tutorial for a sewn, washable snuffle mat. This is only made with fabric, so it can be thrown in the washing machine. Depending on how big you make it, and with what options, it will take an amateur between 45 mins and 1.5 hours. This would be an awesome gift for a fellow animal lover or for an animal shelter.
Very beginner friendly. The most difficult thing is sewing multiple layers together, which can take some work to get under the presser foot.
Materials:
1 cheap fleece blanket ~50x60 inches of fabric if you make the size I made.
thread of any color
scissors
sewing machine

Thanks for this tutorial! I'm getting a puppy in February, and as he's part border collie, I'm looking into as many ways to stimulate him mentally as I can, and I prefer homemade before store-bought any day!
