BACK HOME AT MY PHILIPPINES BEACH HOUSE IN CATEEL, DAVAO ORIENTAL!
Kumar has been busy working on his planting, and well, he has been doing a great job. There is a growing around our beach property. From the house, I head back to Cateel, and find myself eating in a carinderia. There, the locals teach me about "Sexy Coca Cola Body". I have to say, this Filipino humor was hilarious!! I guess some people use the coca cola bottle as a description for having a sexy body... or a bigger body!
After sharing a lot of laughs, I head out in search of a place to swim. Along the way, I come across a fruit farmer, who shows me his fruit farming out in the mountains of Boston. Turns out he has more than 250 cacao trees, amongst all sorts of other fruits!
From learning about sexy coca cola body, to adventuring off into the mountains...
Just another Philippines beach home day here in the province of Davao Oriental, Mindanao.

When I was in grade school, our school project was planting vegetables. And so I planted ampalaya, upo, pechay, repolyo, and camote leaves. With regular care, I harvested a lot of ampalaya, upo, pechay and repolyo. Not only it was fun but also rewarding.

If you are in Samal Island there are some new falls, previously only known to the locals, Dao Falls, Cawag. About 2 km towards the sea from Hagimit Falls (which are closed). We were there on Saturday, blue water, great for swimming on jumping into. You can lie down on the slope and get a great water massage. 10 minutes walk from the road where you can park. Don't really need a guide but we got one for P200, support the locals. Well worth a visit. Power On.
