So I just started reading out the gaud and pukicho stuff, and random accents developed for the both Gaud sounds like an average middle-class Englishman (like yours truly) that sometimes slips into a posher accent and Puki kinda sounds like Kermit. I don't know why he sounds like Kermit, my brain just decided like he does.

gaud to me sounds like the voice in your head if it wasn’t your voice. just a faint whisper of a voice you’ve never heard before. pukicho just kinda sounds like a guy named james but whenever he threatens someone he slips into the voice of demon, as his true form is surfacing

Ya know, doesn't the phrase "I see the light at the end of the tunnel." probably refer to seeing hell? Hell is depicted with a fudge ton of fire & lava probablly making it extremely bright. Meanwhile while Heaven is depicted being on the clouds, you rarely ever see the actual sun in the depictions. So shouldn't Hell be extremely bright & Heaven be an eternal land of darkness?

In the Divine Comedy (where basically all of our ideas about Heaven and Hell come from) depicts Heaven as just pure light and SUPER bright. Hell, despite having a lot of fire and stuff, is depicted as being really dark - more like how smoldering charcoal and fire embers are, instead of the actual flame (and, tbf - red light is the first color to get absorbed, so it doesn’t actually illuminate very well)

This reminded me of something once. As a teenager, I shortly worked a part-time job as a video rental place. Mostly all I did was clean and put away DVDs. Then I had to put away Octopussy. I didn't know it was a James Bond film and assumed it was actually porn. I have to ask help from my supervisor because being the young 'innocent' teen I was wouldn't dare go into that section. They were laughing as they informed me it was just a James Bond film and told me where it went.

I've been watching this channel for a while, and recently recommended it to a friend. I thought he had heard about it before. Only then did I notice that he doesn't have a million subscribers. HOW THE F DOES THIS CHANNEL NOT HAVE A MILLION SUBSCRIBERS??? It's so good! And the content is so well chosen! And the voices are so nice!

@@pigeonroach really? The way I always heard it was that felix wanted to make crusch happy because she was sad she couldn't be girly and dress up so felix did that to fill her void. He's still a man, he just wanted to make a friend happy and found he liked it as a hobby. If he's actually trans, why does he seem just as happy in men's clothes like his uniform? Why do things like the Wikipedia for re:zero, what should be the collective for all information on re:zero, use he/him for felix? Side note, I found these quotes on that Wikipedia. The Web novel: "I'm a man in body and soul, nya!" Author of the series: He's male because I wanted to make a cute guy character. Actual chapter title from one of the light novels: Felix Argyle is a Pretty Boy. Ferris at the end of the bonus volume focusing on his relationship with Crusch: "It’s true. I’m a man, just like he said. I'm a man. I'm a man." Look, I have no issue with trans anime characters, in fact I like them, but instead of defending those canon transgender characters like lily from zombieland saga, or kiku from one piece, or magne from my hero academia, you're trying to make a character fit your agenda regardless of canon. It's like you're trying to say that all femboys are just trans women that don't know it yet and that gets under my skin. Screw gender norms, you can't call a man a trans woman just for wearing a skirt, take Scotland for example.

On the subject of Aphrodite - Fun fact, Ares was ALSO historically considered to be 'ugly'. I've got this little head canon that it wasn't that she was unsatisfied with Hephestus, it's that as the goddess of love she couldn't stand that they were considered unloveable. Bonus fact - one thing that the ancient greeks considered unattractive was large 'members', so it's entirely possible that Aphrodite was just the original size queen.

3:01 did you know that the majority of deaths attributed to scorpion stings isnt actually from the venom? It comes from the shock caused by the pain and the preconceived notion that a scorpion sting will kill you. Basically we worry ourselves to the point of going into shock and then die. Granted, the pain is super severe and adds to the worry because our body figures something *THAT* painful has to be deadly, right? Better off not getting stung but if you do and manage to keep calm, your probably fine.
